She gave me a very thorough consultation and helped choose a style that really suited my eye shape. The application was super gentle – no stinging and no tearing at all. I got my lashes done at her Blackburn location, and I’m so happy with the results. Highly recommend her!

Juta Got my eyebrows threaded with Monika and it was a really good experience. I was in and out in 10 minutes and she did a really good job fixing my eyebrows which were ruined (from another place). The salon is next to the Ashoka indian grocery store and has plenty of parking space.

Bunnie I booked last night for a next day shellac pedicure. Booking process was super easy and fast. And the current promotion is AMAZING upon arrival was offered tea or water. Pedicure included scrub, cuticle oil, lotion, hot towel, massage. Shellac process was speedy. Amy was very professional, nice and had great skills. The French pedicure looks amazing. She said they also offer acrylic pedicures, so I’ll definitely be booking that in future as not many salons offer this. I haven’t found any in the Eastern suburbs. Will definitely be my new go-to salon. Beautiful shop, and lovely environment

Charlotte Been here twice so far and this will always from now on be my top nail salon in the area! The staff are so friendly and gentle, you can tell they take care in their work! Always clean and music playing! Love this salon!

Tina Grasso The place is beautiful but my experience was honestly awful, I went in to get a soak off/refill on my nails. I did not receive a soak off instead I got them ripping off my acrylics with another nail (which was painful) but then she had ripped some of my natural nails underneath. Me thinking it wasn’t okay to put a nail on top of that because of long term affect but she said it would be fine… well it wasn’t and this is the end result of my nail right now as I went to another salon after my experience here (She was rushing me with my phone so I could barely take photos before she added the new set)

Anna Molinaro George & the team at Talons were wonderful today, they looked after my Mum & myself, they are super friendly & I could see the owner George really cares for his staff & his clients alike. He checks in with his clients to make sure they are happy with the service being provided. They offer water bottles which is a really nice touch. The fitout & colour scheme is tasteful, warm & inviting. Wishing you every success George to you & the team. We look forward to returning again for our next service.

Michelle Le A brand new beautiful nail Salon in Blackburn with experienced staff. I came here yesterday to get my pedicure and new set of nails redone. I made the appointment last minute and they were able to fit me in. Easy place to park the car. They offered water during the service and I was done in 1.5 hours which I was great for a busy person like me. The colour and shape I chose was baby pink and pointy. The staff did a fantastic job. I will be back again. Thank you Talons.

B B The end result I got was nothing like I had showed in the photo. A quarter head of foils from the crown was what the hairdresser thought would achieve the same look. I also had layers in my hair, the crown foils didn’t go to the bottom layer so the bottom layers were left completely black (see photo - coloured then a harsh transition to black) After complaining that this isn’t what I wanted I was told I need to get a full head to achieve that look - then why was wrong advice given to me before? I was very disappointed and asked to just tone my hair dark again so I can atleast leave the salon and not be embarrassed by my hair.

Toni Brient I had a horrific experience with facial threading at this place and encourage people to avoid at all costs. From the minute I sat down, the salon owner told me how bad my facial pigmentation was, grilled me on what I had done to cause it, and even when I said it didn’t really bother me and clearly didn’t want to discuss it, she persisted. When she found out I suffered bad acne as a teen, she berated me for apparently not washing my skin properly. A really ignorant comment for someone supposedly an expert on skin. Also hypocritical when she was continuously putting the thread she used for the service in her mouth before using it on my skin and touching her hair before touching my skin. The icing on the cake was she was so concerned with trying to shame me into buying costly skin treatments, she barely removed any of the hair I was there to have threaded in the first place. I had to ask her twice to go over areas again, and I got home to see my face in full light and realise I’m going to have to find somewhere else to get the exact same treatments again. A huge thumbs down and shame on this salon owner.

Manpreet Bal My hair were so wiggly but I got perfect foils and layer cut with Poonam’s efforts. She did blow dry very well. I got what I wanted. The result was amazing. Thanks to her, highly recommended. I would like to go there again.

The ladies were patient and kind and even though he still cried and sat on my lap they were very flexible and as quick as they could be, and his hair looked much better despite the challenging circumstances for them! Madelyn Collins I’ve been going to Beauty Genesis pretty much since they opened at least 1-2 times a month to get manicure and pedicure shellac. Reading some of these reviews I’m pretty shocked and honestly disgusted to hear the horrible things some people have said. The staff do amazing work, regardless of which staff member I have had and are friendly, helpful and incredibly kind. I use mobility aides due to a disability and EVERY staff member goes out of their way to make sure I’m comfortable, supported and have any help I need, despite always visiting the salon with someone else. I have gone to quite a few other salons over the years and not only do the ladies at Beauty Genesis do a great job, are incredibly supportive, have a huge collection of colours, are reasonably priced, have a loyalty program, ensure they communicate with you about the service, but they actually care about their customers. I will continue to go back here for all services required.
