1 /5 Thamara Rathnayaka: This is the horrible property company I dealt with in 2006, when my husband and I were new to Australia and looking for an apartment in the city, turned out to be a nightmare. The manager, Ron Cross, misled us completely. He assured us that our income was sufficient to secure the property and convinced us to put down a $40,000 deposit. He even claimed that his financial advisor had given the green light. However, when it came time to finalize everything, it became clear that we couldnt proceed as promised. Instead of helping us resolve the situation, Ron Cross suggested opening a new bank account and pressuring us to put in more money. It was a blatant attempt to exploit our unfamiliarity with the system. This experience felt like a complete scam, preying on newcomers to the country who were simply trying to find a place to live. Dealing with such dishonesty and manipulation was incredibly frustrating. After this devastating experience, my family fell apart. My husband had worked tirelessly to save up for a deposit. The aftermath plunged him into depression still in desperate attempts to recover from this situation, and the weight of this has been a heavy burden on me for far too long.

1 /5 William Tasmania: Absolutely horrendous experience with Parktrent. Had a rental property with them for 5 years and was the worst 5 years Ive had with any property manager! They had no one living in my property for the last few months and tried everything to contact Jessica Wiebell to update me but no success. She really couldnt care less. In the end I had to go with a different property manager who found another tenant in the first week and when we tried to contact Jessica for the keys to the property she refused to communicate and give back the keys. It eventually took her 4 weeks to give back the keys only to find out that from 4 sets of keys, 1 was missing, 2 were actually for another property and the only 1 that worked is cracked so we had to get a replacement anyway, $300 down the drain. How incompetent can you be at your job?? Worst experience Ive ever had with anyone in my life and all I asked of her was to do her job. Lazy would be an understatement. If you know whats good for you then stay well away!

1 /5 Steph: Finally found the name of this property management group, and sad to see things still havent changed. Had the displeasure of being a tenant of a property working with a ParkTrent property. avoid at all costs!! For property owners; - They didnt even do a proper inspection of the property from the previous tenants. Black mould in the shower and a bunch of moth balls had been dumped and melted in the laundry sink. - They gave me, hilariously, photos of a different apartment in the same building. You could tell, not only by the orientation of how the cabinet doors opened, but also the veneer on the cabinets were completely different. For tenants; - Took me 2 months to get a garage remote. - The door to the apartment didnt lock and took me a VCAT session, which they didnt attend, and dozens of phone calls to have resolved. Awful awful company. AVOID.

5 /5 MONIQUE JEREMIAH: ParkTrent Properties Group is a highly professional property organisation which is managed very well compared to many of its competitors. The company also holds an excellent leadership team and CEO Ron Cross.

1 /5 Chris Lowe: Victorian rental agents are definitively lazy, liars and constantly abuse tenant rights. Stay clear of this company for any reason. Issues escalated to national office. Nobody cares. 5 months to get a working garage remote 6 months and counting to get a second key. 4 months to fix locks of doors that cannot be used causing fire safety issues. Absolutely disgraceful EDIT - Agnecy has never even lodged bond to RTBA, no copy of the lease agreement was provided.
