1 /5 Brenton Fisher: I’d review their food but it never turned up! Placed an order tonight and the person on that took out order was told our address multiple times and even spelt the road name to them. Also added that we are on a street, NOT an avenue as there is a road named the same on the other side of town. Our contact number was also given more than once due to them either not paying attention or struggling with background noise in the store. Despite all these clear instructions we waited an extra 15 minutes after the estimated time of arrival before we rang to be told they went to the wrong address and took the wrong number down! Utterly incompetent.

1 /5 Peter Rhodes: I genuinely don’t know what’s happened to AJ’s over the years, but it’s gone from being a decent local spot to an absolute disappointment. First off, the quality of the food is terrible now. The pizza is greasy, bland, and tastes like it’s been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. Whatever made this place special is completely gone. And to make matters worse, they have the nerve to overcharge for it. You’re paying premium prices for what honestly tastes like frozen supermarket pizza. What really sealed the deal for me was the last visit (after having not ordered for nearly 18 months). A messed-up order, ridiculous price, and food that barely resembled what I actually asked for. If you’re craving real pizza, do yourself a favour and go next door to Rowano’s. They actually know what they’re doing, and you won’t leave feeling ripped off. AJ’s used to be worth supporting, but not anymore. Don’t waste your time, your money, or your appetite here.

1 /5 Elaine D: Ordered over the phone. When I arrived one guy behind counter was on store phone. Still had to wait 10 mins even though I arrived when they said. Whilst waiting noticed premises were very dirty. Old food scraps on floor, under counter and strewn around counter, till and phone. The guy also was preparing toppings without wearing gloves and had not washed his hands after coming off the phone. No covering on head either. I seriously thought of cancelling but had already paid and didnt want to get into an argument with the kid in the car outside. A woman brought out the pizzas from the back of the store and put them in front of me without a word. I confirmed it was my order and left. Pizzas were poorly made and tasteless. Had an upset tum later that evening. Thankfully kid was OK. Wont be returning. Recommend Rowenas or Sampas in mooroolbark. Regularly order from both and always good.

2 /5 Jacky Sun: This place actually used to be used to be quite good, but it has gone downhill. When the staff got my order wrong, they started blaming me and saying that I said it wrong and I cant speak well, and the Boss also yells very loudly at his employees if they do something that he does not like. I would not recommend coming here.
