5 /5 Aruba Rizwan: One of the best Indian and Pakistani food in Melbourne hands down!! You have to order their big tandoori platter if you’re going with family as their portions are HUGE! And their curries are so tasty as well, I recommend the mutton handi for sure!! Love this place :)

3 /5 Ravish Aggarwal: The restrurant was very very noisy and very crowded. The venue and restrurant environment was geared more toward bachelor diners than families. We ordered 5-6 dishes, Chicken kasturi and Nawabi special platter was best overall all dishes were good. Ambiance and environment was so so.Service was also average, Overall average.

1 /5 Maruful Islam: This used to be my go-to spot when I didn’t feel like cooking and wanted some Pakistani food. I’ve been there more than 20 times since they opened, mostly because it’s the only Pakistani restaurant around St Kilda. But I’ve finally decided not to go anymore, and here’s why. The food is average at best. Doesn’t taste bad, but nothing stands out. Lately the goat dishes have become so tough and chewy it’s actually hard to eat. The staff are just plain rude and careless. Once the food is on your table, they disappear. Every single time I order a Coke, they forget to bring it until I’m halfway through eating. It’s happened every time I have been there, it’s ridiculous. They also force you to sit wherever they want, even if half the restaurant is empty. Once they made me sit between two big families and refused to let me move to other table. The music is obnoxiously loud, usually Indian songs blasting at full volume. The food always takes a long time, which is fine for a Pakistani restaurant if they just mentioned it, but they never do. No heads-up, no apology. I once waited an hour for a takeaway on a Saturday midnight. During their breakfast promo, I ordered chai. They completely forgot it and never checked on me once. When I mentioned it while paying, they just asked if I wanted it to take as parcel. No sorry, nothing. I’ve really tried to support this place, but the service keeps getting worse. I am glad that I didn’t fall for their 5% discount for google review trap when they opened.

Staff speak to customers as if you’re bothering them, ignoring basic courtesy, it honestly feels like the staff are in a contest to see who can be the rudest. They do not let you sit where you want and their reasoning is that "they cleaned the table". The owner constantly stares at you in a way that makes you feel uncomfortable and unwelcomed, like you are there to steal something. The mutton was rubbery and tasted like it had been frozen and refrozen too many times. Nothing felt fresh. Between the awful service and the low-quality food, this place is a complete disappointment. Definitely not worth the money, or the attitude.

5 /5 Gaurav Adhikari: We recently dined at Al Nawab St Kilda Restaurant in Melbourne, and it was an outstanding experience. The food was absolutely excellent — full of authentic flavors, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. Every dish tasted fresh and well-seasoned, and you can really tell they put care into their preparation. The service was just as impressive. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the meal. They were quick to assist and happy to answer any questions about the menu. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience with both amazing food and top-quality service. I would definitely recommend Al Nawab
