5 /5 Aanchal Tangri: Atta is perfect for upscale Indian dining, offering a beautifully elevated take on classic flavours. We started with the dahi kebab, reshami, and the standout Sikandari Raan—each entrée was plated excellently, with every ingredient thoughtfully complementing the other. The server explained each dish in detail, which added to the experience. The Sikandari Raan, cooked for 16 hours, was truly the star of the evening—exceptionally tender with a deep, rich burst of flavour. For mains, we ordered butter chicken, prawn curry, murg biryani, and naan. Everything arrived fragrant and tasted just as good as it smelled—rich, well-balanced, and comforting without being heavy. Special mention to Roopali at Atta, who was incredibly humble and delivered outstanding guest service with warm, genuine interactions that made us feel truly welcomed. The only area for improvement would be the drinks, particularly the cocktails, which didn’t quite match the excellence of the food. Overall, a fantastic dining experience in Melbourne.

Roopali and her team were exceptional in helping us both in preparation for the evening, as well as throughout the night. The menu was outstanding--the golgappa canapes, the paneer and charcoal chicken entrees and the rasmalai dessert were standout dishes that many of our guests raved about. We have had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this restaurant, both for small private dinners and for larger functions.

1 /5 Nina Laza: I want to make people aware that Atta Restaurant has a $95 per person requirement that isn’t communicated until the end of your meal. We had a reservation at 7:15 PM with my sister my sister visiting from Adelaide), my niece and myself. We ordered from the menu, thinking we weren’t doing the banquet, but partway through, the waitress informed us of the $95 per person policy. The curries are $45 per person, which is far too expensive for what you receive they are nothing special compared to an average curry. The food was just okay, the service confusing, the atmosphere very boring, and there’s also a 10% Saturday surcharge. Overall, we felt disappointed and embarrassed. The food was just okay, the service confusing, the atmosphere very boring, and the bowls were extremely hot so much so that it made me wonder if the curries were pre-cooked and microwaved. Would I recommend this restaurant? No. Be aware of the $95 per person charge before you sit down.

5 /5 Tony O.: Came here for dinner with my partner and we were both so stunned by how delicious the food was. Hands down the best fine dining Indian I’ve ever had. The cherry on top was that the service was also outstanding and ambiance was sophisticated but warm at the same time. We were left just pleasantly surprised with every aspect of our visit. Will definitely return!
