5 /5 Timothy Wilson-Douglas: Cafe 162 deserves a full five stars, hands down. The $15.50 lunch deal is absolutely epic—where else can you get whatever you want with some chips and a salad, all for that price? It’s seriously good value. The sandwiches, in particular, looked unreal—stacked high and packed with flavor. The sight of them alone could fill you up!
And then there’s the drinks—lined up all over the walls like a library of refreshments. It adds this really cool, laid-back vibe to the place. I couldn’t help but imagine something similar in The Velvet Fedora—the bar I dream of opening one day. I’d have shelves full of drinks like that, creating a space where you could grab a martini or mojito to go with whatever mood you’re in.
Cafe 162 has nailed the perfect balance of affordability and quality, with a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to stay. Five stars, no question.
