Il Porto - VIC

Jay Cao Came down here for a Thursday night dinner. This is the best pizza restaurant in Avondale Heights and Keilor East. Situated in on a main artillery on the west side and quite frankly it’s a hidden gem to enjoy some genuine Italian pizza made fresh and the Italian DOC style. We the gnocchi fritto with prosciutto, let me say that this is life changing and you will not be disappointed! It tastes like Chinese donuts with prosciutto, omg the combo is heavenly as a starter. We also ordered 3 pizzas to share and honestly we can fault any of it, the margarita is also spot on for something so simple. focaccia we’re also ordered and we polished all the food we ordered it was that good. Tiramisu for dessert and they have a few different options but I was way too full to have it but again, all of this were polished off and very reasonably priced. This is a must try in Avondale Heights and if you’re driving past on your way to the freeway, grab a takeaway!

Mr Brooks Stonegrill & Bar - VIC

Vesses Wijesinghe Went here with my partner for dinner and had a great time. The lamb ribs were the highlight, so juicy and tender, falls off the bone. The seafood pasta is great value, you get prawn, salmon, scallops, calamari and mussels in a creamy pasta. We had a wonderful server, Chelsea, who was super friendly and made the night fun and stress-free. Suitable for a chill date night or dinner with mates.

Pizza Workshop Co - VIC

Michael Oklob Have bought pizzas from them a number of times. Always been happy with the food. Good friendly customer service. My go to local pizza shop. Updated 16/10/2022. On behalf of myself and the 15th. Essendon Sea Scouts. Id like to say a big thank you to Nathan at The Pizza Workshop, for your generous donation of pizzas to the volunteers cleaning up the Scout hall today. After the recent flooding. It was greatly appreciated by all.

The chips are by far one of my favourite chips Ive had, the cristpiest chips! I would go back for the chips if anything ~ Thank you for the amazing service and for showing us what the food looked like before ordering.

Jack B. Nimble - VIC

Em Jay First time Ive visited and it will not be the last. The cafe is bright and calm, the team friendly and welcoming and the food is excellent. The buttermilk pancake was the perfect serving size, fluffy and light. And the ice matcha latte wasnt too sweet - a very nicely balanced drink. Definitely recommend to anyone in the area.

Jacks Charcoal Chicken - VIC

Minjun Lee This charcoal chicken place is actually ridiculous. You know that smoky, crispy, straight-off-the-spit smell? Yeah — it hits you before you even open the door. The chicken is next-level. Skin perfectly crispy, golden and crackly. Inside? Juicy. Tender. Not dry for a single second. I don’t know what kind of magic they’re using but I support it. And the seasoning?? It’s not just salt. It’s that perfectly balanced, savoury, slightly herby flavour that makes you stop mid-bite and just nod at the table like, “Yep. This is it.” The chips? Crunchy on the outside, fluffy inside, seasoned properly — not that weak sprinkle. Proper coverage. Elite. Garlic sauce? Dangerous. I would dip literally anything in it. Bread, chips, probably my homework if I’m being honest. Portions are huge, prices are solid, and you leave smelling like charcoal in the best possible way. Honestly 12/10. I went for lunch and somehow I’m still thinking about it at dinner.
