4 /5 Elizabeth Bruno: In the restaurant section: My fish of the day meal was Grilled Trevally with mash and orange feta and red onion salad. It was nice but fell short of my expectations. I rate it 3.5 stars. The fish was somewhat bland and didnt have a grilled flavour. My husbands English sausages with mash, peas and gravy was good. He rates his meal 4 stars. The service was good. Modern music playing in the background. The vibe and decor is nice but dated. Overall 4-star dining experience.

5 /5 Amber C.: The dining room is more like a restaurant at the Canadian Bay Hotel . The service and food was delightful . If you are taking a trip to Mount Eliza , I definitely recommend you stop in here . There is also an attached less formal bar / lounge . A highlight was definitely the cauliflower gnocchi . The menu and food is definitely above your average hotel fare . There is table seating and also booth / banquette seating which is lovely for a group of 4 .

5 /5 Bronwyn Hill: Love this hotel, thefixx was playing last night. This band is brilliant and full of energy. Everyone had a great time, and combined with a great vibe this hotel portrays, a perfect combination. The staff are wonderful and assisting. I highly recommend the candian Bay ans especially this band too.

3 /5 Two Sheds: It didn’t quite cut it here for me. The venue is old and tired and well in need of renovation. I wasn’t enthused by my meal at all, either. I had the mussels with a sort of chunky tomato and herb sauce. The dish don’t work at all in my view. Some of the mussels looked brownish and a bit off to me. The sauce didn’t have any oomph at all either. The accompanying bread was ordinary too. For the first time in my life, I didn’t finish a mussel dish. On the plus side my partner liked her pie dish and was glad she ordered it. I’m not sure about our companion who had a crumbed fish dish. He remained mute. Service here was nice from the older lady but rather sullen from the younger person. My thought: the whole place needs significant improvement

2 /5 Caroline Patrick: The most disappointing meals we have had in a while. Calamari was ok, chips were soft and a big soggy, chicken burger was odd. It’s a tired looking pub with a beer garden overlooking the road. We won’t be coming back. Although I must say the service was super friendly.
