Liam My wife and I bought burgers, both beef and they were delicious. Great size and cooked perfectly. We also bought fries which are also great! This is our go to when we feel like having burgers and fries. If you haven’t tried it, do yourself a favor and buy yourself a burger meal! 5/5 from us !

Reddy Roasts Carvery - Carrum Downs - VIC

Vivien Melino I preordered 2 kgs of sliced roast lamb for pickup Christmas Eve. It was a huge amount with 2 tubs of gravy too. I moved the meat to 2 Pyrex dishes and covered it all with gravy, then sealed with lids. The next day the 2 dishes were put in the oven to heat through and the result? The meat was sensational. So soft, tender and full of flavour. The meat tasted as good as mine has done for the last 30 years, and so easy ! And everyone in my family just assumed it was mine as usual. Win/win. And the young lad serving was very helpful, polite and well informed. Now there’s no way I’ll ever buy another leg of lamb, cook it, slice it, make the gravy then serve it. Thanks so much Reddy Roasts Carrum Downs.

Thats Pho - VIC

Peter Ooi Excellent Vietnamese in Carrum Downs, so nice to find authentic Vietnamese food away from Springvale. Had their Lemongrass Beef Bun Vermicelli and their Pork Chop Broken rice, both delicious and seriously legit! Two thumbs up!

Seaford RSL - VIC

Jo Jo w Love this RSL, not as flashy as some but has that old RSL feel with awesome food, such a large menu and fantastic friendly staff. Ask to sit by the windows and watch the Rosella’s on the feeding poles while you have lunch. It’s great everytime.

38 South - VIC

Madi I come to 38 South often, either with my partner or friends, and it’s always such a great experience. The service is consistently fantastic and the coffee is always perfect. I live in Carrum Downs but happily drive out here to meet friends because I know it’s worth it. Today I booked for Father’s Day and my dad absolutely loved it — the food was delicious, the service was spot on, and the atmosphere was welcoming as always. I really appreciate this place; it feels warm, friendly, and somewhere you always want to come back to. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great coffee, great food, and a lovely experience.

Hindu Society of Victoria - VIC

Fernando Jay (Anthoniez) Even though it says it’s Hindu Society, you would see people from different cultures. The temple ground is a very peaceful place to walk around. And the cafeteria offers amazing vegetarian food.

HSV Cafe Annapoorani - VIC

jp singh Our experience at this café began with its offering of Satvik food, which I deeply respect. Community food service fosters a sense of togetherness, making you feel like an integral part of something larger. Sitting among like-minded individuals, with the shared purpose of visiting the divine abode of God, enhances the spiritual experience. It all begins with purity—both in thought and in the food we consume. The café does an incredible job of serving quality, wholesome food that aligns with this ethos. However, it’s important to remember that this is not a restaurant in the traditional sense; rather, it’s a place that nourishes both body and soul. Some visitors might expect restaurant-style service, but embracing the true essence of this space enhances the experience. Our visit to the temple, followed by a meal at the café, was truly fulfilling. It served as a beautiful introduction to our culture for our children. The authentic flavors, cultural ambiance, and spiritual energy made the experience deeply enriching. Food-wise, being Punjabi, I would personally skip dishes like Poori and Dahi Vada, as the taste might differ from traditional Punjabi preparations. However, we absolutely loved the rest of the South Indian dishes and Dosa, which were flavourful and well-prepared. For anyone living in Melbourne—regardless of religion—this place is a must-visit to experience and share cultural heritage with family. It is truly a gem that deserves to be revisited again and again.

Jobelle Leybag Crispy lemon chicken with a balanced tangy sauce, not too sweet. Spring onion pancakes were flaky and fresh. Good portion size and served hot. Would order again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆
