5 /5 R V: I’m writing this after multiple visits, not a one off. We dine at Chilli Chaska Tandoori Bar at least two or three times a month, and it has been consistently reliable each time.
Located right inside Sanctuary Lakes Shopping Centre, it’s an easy and convenient dine in option when you want Indian food without travelling too far. We usually go with naan and curries, and the food has been consistently flavourful with decent portion sizes. Nothing feels rushed or half done, and the gravies have proper balance rather than being overly oily or bland.
What stands out over repeat visits is consistency. The flavours don’t swing from visit to visit, which is something you start valuing once you eat Indian food regularly. For around $35 to $40 for two people, it feels like fair value for both quantity and quality.
I happened to have a brief chat with the kitchen team and learned that one of the chefs, Munna, has worked back in India with major hotel groups like Taj and has also cooked at Priya Indian here in point cook stockland. That experience does show in the execution. Munna and Sarvan clearly know what they’re doing and take pride in the food they send out.
The front staff have always been polite and attentive, making the overall dine in experience comfortable.
A solid option in Point Cook if you’re looking for dependable Indian food that delivers consistently rather than trying to impress once.
