1 /5 Ricky: We preordered the winter melon soup and pi pa duck. When asked if we could have half a duck they replied no as there were no other preorders to share with us. Alright, fine.
When we arrived, we were served by an older male staff who looked very uninterested. When asked if they still make the olive vegetable minced pork tofu, he replied in a condescending way as if I couldnt read. He was later seen sitting on the next table looking at his phone...
The table next to us knew one of the other staff, so they got the preferential treatment when their plates were piled up with bones and food wastes. Our plates plates were also piled up with the duckbones, but we were left to continue piling up the mountain.... no service whatsoever.... ok I got it... we were not regulars...
When the dinner was served, we found that a part of the winter melon was a bit bitter but the rest of the soup was fine. The duck was just a bit too much for us when we wanted to try other dishes. Overall, the food quality was ok but nothing outstanding.
However, when we were about to leave. The 3rd table arrived and asked if there were any pi pa duck. The kitchen said yes. Now, I thought it was meant to be preordered and we were told no one else wanted so we had to have it whole! I pointed this out as I was paying and the lady looked at me for a few seconds, and said business has been a bit quiet... goodness me... you made us ate the whole duck just to increase your sales...
This was exactly the reason why your business was not that great!
