Bouvier Bar - VIC
Jeremy C I just went there this evening after seeing the pasta bambino sign outside, the restaurant is so lovely inside, the music was nice and relaxing and not too loud or overwhelming. We were greeted straight away and the service was spot on. The food menu looked really nice, for the entree we chose the garlic bread and the little croquette and for the main I had the rigatoni and my pasta had the potato gnocchi, both of our dishes were generous and so good. We didn’t have deserts tonight but we intend to come back to try some more pasta ! I strongly recommend, on the top of it all, it was very reasonably priced for the quality of food !

Ciao Mamma! - VIC
Alexis Munro I have been wanting to visit Ciao Mammas for years as im from Sydney, this has been on my list for so so long! As a coeliac there is nothing better than going somewhere where you know you are going to be safe to eat and have zero worries. The food was 10/10 - I had the Aranchini, pesto fettuccine and the Nutella donut balls and WOWWWW! Incredible. The service was 10/10 - the girls were so attentive, lovely and knew everything about coeliacs. Drinks selection was excellent too and very grateful for the staff putting up with our loud antics, they were the best! If you are a local or visiting, coeliac or not in highly recommend- the non coeliacs were singing praises on how Incredible the food was.

The Nifty Duke - VIC
Amanda Lyons Had an utterly charming- and tasty! - experience here. Everything was delicious; the burgers are perfectly cooked and designed, with cool and innovative veg and vegan options. Everything arrived perfectly cooked - my chicken was succulent and juicy, and hubs potato/onion pakoda was really tasty and a great idea for a vegan burger. Everything came with a little flourish that showed genuine care and passion for the food - eg spice sprinkles on our little pot of mayo. We also got a salad to accompany our burgers, pear and walnut - so good, and the vinaigrette was perfect. We ate in and really enjoyed the ambiance of the place, including great music. And the two cooks/servers were so friendly and made a very charming team. Oh, also the meals are great value, especially considering how excellent they are. Highly recommend and very much looking forward to coming back to try more dishes!

Bill Love the vibe in this place. Cool decor, friendly and welcoming staff, and a lovely smell coming from the kitchen…what more could you want? The food itself, outstanding! The meats were tender and delicious, the hummus super smooth, the rice (usually an aside) was a standout. Savory, complex, textured and delicious. In fact, everything was perfect. Even the mama lager was great! Side note, two groups had birthdays it seems so we were all “treated” to a slightly unorthodox birthday tune, which was fun and funny to observe. Oh, and super reasonable prices too!

Natella Finds My new fav cafe in Melbourne!! Such a cute and cosy cafe with amazing coffee and drinks, and most delicious Japanese homemade food. Prices are also decent for the quality that you get. Staff are also super friendly and service was very quick. I do wish they expand so they can seat more customers :) but everything is amazing

elyssia hicks Stumbled upon this gem looking for a place for a drink before dinner. Were greeted with fantastic and friendly customer service and staff who are very knowledgeable. The bartender is up to some real magic behind the scenes, and makes a lot of the cocktail ingredients in house. We had the Cats Paw and Dirty Chai Martini which were expertly made. We loved hearing about the process behind the scenes in making the watermelon rum which involved so many processes including setting it on fire!! I also tried the Rose Quartz and I can not express enough it was probably the best cocktail I have had in Melbourne, unlike anything Ive tasted before. It really takes you on a journey of flavours. Incredible craftsmanship, a must try. We didnt eat so I cant comment on the food. There is indoor seating or outside seating on the street. They said they are in the process of making a beer garden, which would have been my only comment for whats missing.

Alisha Tsia We had the most amazing night and I honestly had to leave a review because Daisy made the whole experience unforgettable. It was my birthday and Daisy went above and beyond from the moment we arrived. She was basically our waitress for the entire night , so attentive, friendly, and genuinely lovely. Nothing was ever too much trouble, she kept checking in on us, made sure everything was perfect, and brought such a fun and warm energy to the night. You can tell she truly cares about the experience guests have, and she made my birthday feel really special. Staff like Daisy are rare and she deserves all the recognition. Thank you so much for making my birthday celebration so memorable , we’ll absolutely be back!

Joseph Pierre To put it simply, 98 Lygon Street Bar & Bistro is OUTSTANDING. We had the spatchcock, market fish, and pasta - each dish was spot-on and full of flavour. The scallops, anchovies, and chorizo to start were incredible and set the tone for the evening. The cocktails were top-notch, and the staff were so attentive and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Amazing food, incredible service, and great atmosphere - we will absolutely be back!

Yakamoz - VIC
Refia Güner We had a great dining experience at Yakamoz. The eggplant hot meze was absolutely delicious — full of flavour and perfectly balanced. The scotch fillet was cooked beautifully and easily the highlight of the meal. The wood-fired potatoes were nice and well done, though a bit more simple compared to the other dishes. That said, the wood-fired bread was excellent and paired wonderfully with everything on the table. Overall, very high-quality food and a place I’d happily return to. Highly recommended.
