Cranny Boys Pizza - Cranbourne West - VIC

Shivam Singh Humble owner, thank you for the delicious pizza. For those complaining about hygiene, please relax. I watched the owner wash his hands with soap after every order. He also cleaned his cutters. You probably wash your hands less when cooking at home

Hungry Jacks Burgers Cranbourne West - VIC

harley savage We only stopped at Hungry Jack’s Cranbourne for a quick drink—just a little thirst quencher, nothing serious. But oh no… the staff had other plans. Next thing we know, we’re being seduced with free food left, right, and centre. Burgers, fries, nuggets—like they were whispering “you hungry?” with every bite. It wasn’t just a snack run—it was a full-on fast-food love story. I came in for a Coke, but left feeling emotionally (and physically) satisfied. 10/10 service, would let them feed me again anytime.

Amatrice Rooftop Restaurant - VIC

Dani L. Randomly came across this restaurant and thanks to the amazing staff who helped me making a reservation last minute! Seriously wanted to order everything on the menu!! Can tell how much effort had been put into each dishes to carefully select the ingredients, then match with the best dressing and flavours!! I would have tried more of the delicious cocktails if I wasn’t driving!! I couldn’t see the impressive view but the atmosphere was great, not too noisy, and the staff team was amazing!! The only thing was that where I sat was quite packed with very tight space for staff or other customers to manoeuvre.

Frederic - VIC

Alexander Howen Melbourne must have been in love on Valentine’s Day a few days ago. As visitors to Melbourne my wife and I left making a booking to the last day. Every restaurant in the Melbourne CBD and surrounds was booked out. We faced having a romantic night in our hotel room! Then, after much searching on Google, we found a table available at Frederic in Richmond. The love gods rewarded us with this find. Frederic is a non traditional French restaurant. Their vibe is oh so French - the staff largely French - the food is modern. The staff are attentive, funny and knowledgeable. You can dress up or come in shorts (a bloke did!). Fine dining without the attitude. I have included a pic of their special menu for this day. The captions on my other photographs tell you which dish. You can see the full description of each dish on the menu. I will leave you with a few impressions of each dish. The zucchini flower was plated in a way I had not seen before. It was sufficiently al dente, delicious and much more interesting than the usual sad zucchini flower I have seen at other restaurants. The combination of the flower with ricotta and mint oil worked so well. The confit ocean trout was beautifully balanced by the roasted cumin and beetroot purée - another sample of the chef’s skill at brining ingredients together. The rockling was a new one for me. This firm fleshed fish thrived in butter poach complimented by the cauliflower puree, pickled mussels and avruga caviar. An interesting adventure into seafood with a flavour and texture that was oh so enjoyable. My wife had the gnocchi. I am usually bored by gnocchi at other restaurants. These were the best I have ever encountered - silky smooth in the mint butter sauce. Frankly, they were addictive. I would have done without all of the above just for the soufflé. It really was the pièce de résistance of this excellent French restaurant. I have searched for suitable adjectives to describe this gorgeous dish. This featherlight, delicate and refined soufflé was a glorious finale to our Valentine’s Day dinner. Thank you Chef Victor. The wine list is extensive with a range of reasonably priced Australian options and more pricey French choices. Sorry Australia, French champagne has something about it that still tempts me. As visitors we only found Frederic because all of our other choices were not available. Next time Frederic will be our first choice. Merci.

Sogumm - VIC

Nisita Widianti I tried their Gomtang ($26), a Korean beef soup, which is served with beef brisket slices, rice, clear broth, and radish kimchi on the side. It’s definitely the kind of comfort food that brings warmth! The broth was very clean and rich, yet subtle. The beef brisket slices were tender, but still had enough texture to provide a nice bite. The radish kimchi was also good! It had a nice crunch, and the flavor was on the milder side. Aside from the dishes, the place itself was very pleasant. It’s a small space with a capacity of less than 20 people, but it doesn’t feel cramped at all. I recommend sitting at the bar, as they have an open kitchen where you can watch the chefs prepare the food. It’s really pleasant to watch. I’ll definitely come back to try more of their dishes!

Kate J Current management has turned this old pub into such a nice, trendy cocktail and pizza bar. Everything from the music and lighting, to the staff and the food is absolutely top notch. This is our new go-to spot every week and we are blown away every visit! The only thing missing is a coffee machine! Invest in one of these and my life is yours!!!!

South of the Wall - VIC

Juverine This place is such a hidden gem and so close to Richmond station! My friend and I got the Feed Me Menu and highlights were cactus tacos, ceviche and nachos. We had way too many corn chips but not complaining. Im usually not great with alcohol so asked for a sweet cocktail - bartender + waiter did the absolute best job with a surprise drink. Will definitely be visiting this place again

Hochi Mama Richmond - VIC

Emily We have been dying to come here. The food was so full of flavour best kingfish dish I have ever had. The pad thai was lovely just a little too sweet. Brisket was a little dry but quite tasty and with the salad very refreshing. Staff were great and offered recommendations. We would highly recommend.
