5 /5 Benjamin Odewahn: I loved my food, great coffee too. Melbourne style breakfast in edithvale, itll make you very happy. Will be back again! The atmosphere was mostly great, the amenities were a little less then I expected, considering everything else was awesome, Id say 4 stars, nothing a quick loo reno wouldnt fix.

5 /5 Ksenija Dedijer: I discovered General Store 5 years ago when we moved to Chelsea. It is a walking distance from our home, and it has become a ritual to visit it on the daily basis. The atmosphere is great and all of the staff are so lovely, always welcoming, smiling and they recognise you & know who you are! Coffees are always consistently great, which is very important to us. There is a variety of different foods to satisfy most people, and it definitely satisfies us; we have celebrated birthdays, graduations and have found any sort of reason to go to General Store and have a meal! 3 /5 Madigan Larissa (Liss): We went maybe a year ago. Forgot to review at the time. This is a very busy spot at times. Its a nice, beachy, chill vibe and decor. We sat inside on a quiet morning. Found the staff (all very young girls) to be so arrogant. Husband had the some weird version of a Benedict and it just didnt work as a dish. Good idea though. I had the nourish bowl, egg on the side (to give to husband) to make it vegan. It was quite tasty. We both still felt hungry after our meals. 3.5☆

5 /5 Lisa Carter: I absolutely love the Edithvale General Store! We come here every week for coffee or food, and it never disappoints. The staff are exceptional - always friendly, welcoming, and full of energy. I love popping in for a quick morning coffee and seeing the girls dancing and singing while making your drinks, it genuinely makes your day better. The team work incredibly hard and handle the pressure that comes with a busy café so well, all while keeping smiles on their faces. We truly adore coming here and can’t wait to visit again. Highly recommend!

4 /5 Jennifer McC: Nice little place, nice decor & clean, but very busy today & a little too noisy for me. We had a couple of things missed from our order, the waiter had forgotten to include our “add ons” - bacon, avocado etc, so we weren’t charged for them. It happens & we weren’t bothered. Wait staff were friendly & attentive, but busy on a busy day. Food was well cooked & well presented & tasty. I had a mushroom toastie on gluten free bread and it was yummy, just a little oily. Plenty of gluten free options, but not all are Coeliac friendly, so make sure you ask before you order. Hot & cold drinks were delicious. Overall we enjoyed our brunch. Well done. I’ll be back on a quieter day. ❤️
