The Grand Hotel Warrandyte - VIC

Amy Addison Yesterday at the gym I mentioned The Grand Hotel to a trainer and a member and both claimed The Grand is quote unquote the best place on earth. This absolutely made me beam! Such an immaculate vibe on Sundays with live music and local customers who return every week as well as Saturday nights when the bar is six deep full of vibrant young folk! Love it here :)) Staff are friendly and put up with a speedy environment and all sorts of crowd members and rarely lose their cool in stressful scenarios. The parma is to die for and so many tap beverages to choose from!!!! The Grand also supports different charity causes each month, just recently supporting the McGrath Foundation and Pinking Up Warrandyte. The heart of warrandyte truly.

Ichimi Sake Japanese Restaurant - VIC

Raina J We happened to stop by for dinner after visiting a nearby park. Since it was still early in the evening, we were lucky enough to get a table as a walk-in. As we enjoyed the food, it reminded us of the American-Japanese cuisine we used to have in the US — a nostalgic and comforting taste for both my husband and me. The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was lovely. We’ll definitely be coming back again.

Warrandyte Stonehouse Cafe - VIC

Sarah Hammond Fabulous Cafe. All day breakfast and wonderful salads. Lots of great gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options. Great coffee. Indoor and outdoor seating. Highly recommend. The Cafe is just out of the main Warrandyte village and there is plenty of parking. Theres a walk along the river accessible right next to the Cafe too.

Now and Not Yet. - VIC

Nina Sheedy First time at this cafe for our family of 4 and a fur child. We sat at their outdoor tables 10 mins before the cafe opened, but as we did we were greeted with a friendly smile. Impeccable service really. The coffee was perfect and a few little nibbles we got (croissants, ginger bread etc) were delicious. A delightful start to our day - thank you!

Warran Glen Cafe - VIC

Alex B. Came here for a birthday brunch and had a great time! Setting was perfect and the gardens are in immaculate shape, what a great view while enjoying a coffee. The "large" size was actually quite large, how delightful, and the food came out quickly and was delicious. Both the Big Brekky and the Breakfast Board were fantastic, no complaints there. We came on a Wednesday morning and it was pretty quiet, which was ideal for us, I can imagine it gets very busy on weekends during the summer so its worth booking ahead. Great spot, would love to come back!

Cocoa Moon Cafe - VIC

Warren Trevor “tangowhisky37” Dropped by on the way back from a hike around mount lofty. The coffee was great, the special dark hot choc kept up to its name, however the milkshakes were really sad... watery and without flavor or substance. Drop by for some great coffee, lovely outdoor seating.

Warrandyte Bridge Cafe - VIC

Mimi This is a super amazing cafe. I’ve never been as comfortable, relaxing and tasty as this cafe. All of the staffs are very nice. Of course, the taste is wonderful. The latte smells really really good. I ordered Farzanah’s Mushrooms, which is super great mushrooms, cheese, poached eggs, toasts and hashed potatoes. If I have any chance, I’ll visit there again definitely;)

Ruffles Burgers & Grill - VIC

Mark Tabacco If you appreciate a proper American-style hamburger, Ruffles Burgers & Grill really gets it right. I ordered a Wagyu Beef Burger and the patty was cooked on a flat-top grill (griddle), giving it that classic caramelised exterior while keeping the inside juicy and full of flavour. I could taste the technique straight away, this is old-school, no shortcuts. The burger was thoughtfully built with quality, fresh ingredients: + Crisp oak lettuce for freshness and crunch + Ripe, juicy tomato that added balance and brightness + Sweet, lightly frizzled onion for texture and depth + Melted American cheese sitting perfectly on the patty + And a well-balanced house sauce, very much in the style of a Thousand Island dressing: creamy, tangy, and nostalgic without being heavy. All of this is held together by a soft, lightly toasted brioche style bun that actually did its job, no collapsing halfway through. Beyond the food, the experience is just as good. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the service feels relaxed and genuine, and the restaurant is clean and well maintained, pleasantly air conditioned with a large screen TV featuring sports. It’s clear pride is taken in the place. No gimmicks or over-complication, just a classic American-inspired hamburger, made properly, using fresh quality ingredients, reasonably priced, in a setting that suits Warrandyte perfectly. Highly recommended. I’ll definitely be back.
