Phil booked 2 days before, plenty of tables. Nice little shop in a nice leafy part of Templestowe. good amount of parking out in the front. service is great, good is delicious, best Persian Ive had. Ive been to enough Persian restaurants to know what to expect. the mains rotate daily so I ordered both. delicious. edit: dessert was so good. the cherry mix and homemade pistachio ice cream.. divine.

Loretta B Pizza and Pasta was delicious! Pizza fresh and crispy straight out of the oven and the pasta was cooked to perfection. Whole family enjoyed every bite. Will be back.

jo We have the local bar across the road from Global and often get dinner for the staff and ourselves from Jesse and his team and the pizza is consistently excellent. We have had functions that have used Global for catering and the feed back has been fantastic. Jesse delivers it to them at the requested time, hot and ready to go! We also offer BYO food at the bar and many of our customers pop across the road to grab a pizza from Global and the feedback is always positive…..great pizza and lovely people.

Shelley raleigh We recently used Amores Pizza for our engagement party and couldn’t fault the experience. We ordered 25 pizzas, and every one was a hit with our guests. The team was fantastic to deal with - well organised, punctual, and very accommodating, including allowing us to use our own pizza boxes! The pricing was very reasonable, delivery was right on time, and they even helped with setting up the pizzas on arrival. Highly recommend for your events!

Loren Mangione Nostalgic feel fish and chip shop. Ordered a kids pack to keep my 3 year old happy during an afternoon drive and ended up wanting a whole pack to myself.. the potato cakes were unbelievably good. I’m going back tomorrow!

L K Edited: 7th March 2026 This is the 3rd time I have attended Mary Eats Cake. I want to let people know how seriously they take food allergies. We only had coffee and a small plate of cakes. They took incredible care not to give my guest walnuts or chocolate in the cake selection. They even came back to ask about different types of nuts and whether they were OK for my guest. The cakes provided were perfect and delicious. We were so impressed by their diligence and fantastic attitude. Previous reviews: We had the most wonderful experience at Mary Eats Cake in Montrose for my mothers 90th birthday High Tea on the 27th April 2025 From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, charming, and beautifully welcoming. The décor is whimsical yet elegant, perfect for a special afternoon tea. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive without being intrusive, and they made sure every detail was perfect. The high tea itself was absolutely delicious — the scones were freshly baked and buttery, the sandwiches and savory bites were full of flavor, and the desserts were pure heaven. Mary Eats Cake is the perfect spot for a catch-up with friends, a special celebration, or just treating yourself to something beautiful. I can’t wait to visit again!

Stephen Scott We’ve been going to the Montrose Charcoal Chicken Shop for years and we have never had anything even close to a bad experience. All the food is great, THE CHIPS ARE EXTRAORDINARY, and the service is elite. Just to clarify, THE CHIPS ARE THE BEST I’VE EVER HAD. Totally worth travelling for.

Kelly Allan Ordered takeaway tonight. My husband came in store to order and the young girl serving was very friendly and efficient. We ordered 3 main meals, salt and pepper chicken, szechuan beef & satay beef, 2 entrees serves of dim sims and a large plain rice. Cost was $66. Food was sensational... especially the salt and pepper chicken!!!! Havent been this happy with Chinese for a little, and we have tried quite a few local places. Thank you so much. We are Montrose locals and we will definitely be back.
