5 /5 Anna Ang: Had an amazing experience at Gather Round Pizza in Templestowe! The pizza was absolutely fantastic—perfectly cooked with a crispy base and topped with super fresh, flavorful ingredients. I also had the tiger prawn pasta, which was rich, well-balanced, and full of fresh prawns. For dessert, the tiramisu was light, creamy, and just the right amount of sweet—an excellent way to finish the meal. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and Adam was incredibly friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. You can really tell they care about quality and service here. Highly recommend if youre in the area and looking for great Italian food!

2 /5 Flora F: We went there often when they just opened, we like the food and they did make a good pizza. However, the recent experience was pretty disappointing. We ordered take away, and received 1 piece of sausage for $15, it honestly taste no difference with the $3 one we got from supermarket. Also the Nutella pizza was $22, same as a full size normal pizza but basically just a small dough with some Nutella on top. Pizza and paste not too bad, but not recommend for the sausage and Nutella pizza for sure.

5 /5 Nicholas Siemensma: Gather round is the best. The food was absolutely delicious. Kids had a special ham pizza thing which they devoured. The lamb pizza was a hit. However, the olive entree dish was the star of the show. So so so tasty! Staff are legendary, Abraham is the nicest bloke going around. Highly recommend this place for a meal!

3 /5 s masdm: I don’t know what’s happened here but the pizzas and service was not what we experienced when they first opened. The pizzas were undercooked and did not look like large. They were also misshapen - which I would’ve accepted if they were good but unfortunately they weren’t. The potato’s were rubbery and raw and inedible. Also when we called them prior to placing the order to check if there were any specials we were put on hold and the guy did not return at all for ages so we hung up and just proceeded to order from the regular menu online. Anyway. The whole experience was disappointing really.

5 /5 Pedram Shirmast: Tonight we had the absolute pleasure of dining at Gather Round for the first time, and what an experience it was! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. We began with the bruschetta and a bowl of warm mixed olives—both beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. For mains, we shared the truffle mushroom pizza and the feta pasta. The pizza, cooked in their authentic wood-fired oven, was hands down the best I’ve ever had—crispy on the outside, soft inside, and loaded with rich, earthy truffle flavour. All the bread is baked fresh in the oven and you can absolutely taste the difference. To top it all off, we finished with their Nutella pizza for dessert. It was the perfect sweet ending—warm, gooey, and indulgent in all the right ways. The customer service was fantastic, friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Whether you’re local or not, I highly recommend making the trip. Honestly, I’d happily drive an hour just to eat here again. Thank you, Gather Round, for an unforgettable night. We’ll definitely be back!
