Rona Boussac Went there when I was spending time at the Sandringham beach. Nice vibes, cosy atmosphere. The food was really amazing! Creative flavours and beautiful presentations. Loved their dessert as well. Service was good. Such a lovely bistro close to the beach! Will definitely be back if I am around the neighbourhood.

Nina Mo Very nice in every way. This local restaurant was on our list for quite long time.We havent been there for quite long time. Entry is from Service Street but you can enter from Melrose Street too. They have outside tables on Melrose Street which is not too busy. We booked table inside. Service was excellent. Thanks you very much Lucky and girl who was very friendly. Sorry I didnt ask for your name. We choosed to have zucchini as entry, meat plata for two, Greek salad and for gluten free people seafood plater. We enjoyed it. Everything was fresh and cooked nicely. We shall come back.

Rebecca Cho Very generous portion. It’s relatively cheaper to other brunch i went to. I love the ramen set. Although the matcha is bit watery for me, i still appreciate the generous portion. It’s very delicious too. It’s a nice place to hangout.

Jenny Anderson Had the most amazing brunch date in a beautiful glasshouse café that’s pet friendly with free parking right out front! The sunlit glassroom filled with greenery is so relaxing and uplifting, and the food is just as impressive Instagram worthy plating and delicious flavours. Highlights were the Salmon Croissant Benny so creative and tasty, the must try Seafood Risotto rich, fresh, and clearly their signature, the cartoon like Blueberry & Choc Chip Hotcake fun and perfectly sweet, plus smooth lattes and matcha. A stunning, cozy spot that ticks every box!

Kelvin Low Have been wanting to come here for such a long time and finally made it. A nice hidden gem of restaurant. All the cuts of meat were amazingly flavourful and melts in your mouth. We also got a few of the soups and stews and they were also excellent. Service is warm and attentive. Our waitress was very friendly and very helpful in recommending their signature dishes. If you like Japanese BBQ, you have to come here.

wentian wang The Food Republic Cafe left us with a very positive impression. During public holidays, the café is extremely busy, so making a reservation in advance is highly recommended if you want to avoid waiting. We ordered several different dishes and every one of them was delicious. The portions were generous, making it great for sharing and very good value for money. Another highlight is that they offer kids’ meals, which makes the café very family-friendly. Just remember to ask the staff for the separate kids’ menu, as it’s not automatically provided. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, and it’s an ideal place for catching up with friends over good food. Overall, a great spot for group gatherings, families, or anyone looking for tasty food in a lively setting.

Mim K Easily the best Japanese takeaway in Melbourne! The food quality is so authentic, it feels like being back in Japan. Everything is incredibly delicious, and the owners are genuinely lovely people who cook your meal fresh on the spot. Highly recommend this place!
