Michael Wentworth-Bell Lovely cafe with a diverse menu. The Kimchi burger was so good. The big breakfast huge. Looking forward to trying more on the menu.

Davidson Foo Make no mistake, this is one of the best KL hokkien mee in Melbourne. Having been born and raised in Malaysia, the noodles really takes me back to simpler days. Fried rice is also very good value and worth a try!

Wai Loo Very friendly and good customer service at this small but comfortable cafe. The drinks as well as the almond croissant were yummy. Would certainly be a returning customer.

Manal De Gregorio Wonderful experience - food was deliciously fresh and tasty, ambience was relaxed with some nice Spanish music in the background and staff were very friendly and attentive. Small outdoor seating is available too, with cool portrait paintings! Went with the kids, but great for date night too. Highly recommended, we will definitely be back!

Simon Mc An outstanding local gem, a cafe serving great coffee and simple food from early, to its afternoon transformation to a cool local bar. Fresh cold beer on tap, and a multitude of wines by the bottle (and some by the glass) Its our new, daily morning coffee spot, and our occasional for Friday knock-offs.

Two Sheds I can’t fault it here. The food is wonderful. The service is good and snappy too. And, I love the casual inside eating spots. I had prawn rice paper rolls to start. These were as fresh as a daisy - like really well made with fresh ingredients - and they were very good and very tasty with a nice side sauce. The beef pho was delicious too. The broth was as good as I’ve ever tasted. The flavour was wonderful. Plus there was stacks of beef strips and plenty of chopped veggies. A chilli sauce was available on the side too. Overall it was a very generous serving with an added side plate of bean shoots. The overall cost of just over $20 was modest, I thought. This place reminds me of Victoria Street in its heyday. I’ve been to Vietnam too and this is as good as you get there as well. The people of this area are very lucky. I’d be here every second day if this place was near me. Bravo ( PS - ignore the few negative reviews here. They are rubbish. )

Jinghan Xia Have been twice with my parents who live nearby and come regularly. Love that the portions are very generous. The food is yummy, we especially enjoyed the fish with pickled vegetables - a sour and mildly spicey soup with large soft pieces of white bass fillet. Kids love the Shanghainese fried noodles. The Shanghainese fried rice cakes were well seasoned and chewy. Chinese broccoli was fresh and crispy. Service was friendly.

Dan Very nice Italian Pizza and pasta , lots of good quality topics on pizza , pasta sauce was fantastic and not greasy at all, customer service is excellent too , my only suggestion is if they can wear gloves in the kitchen when making Pizza as it makes it perfect in customer’s perspective .

Phil Tad Awesome Korean barbecue restaurant in Balwyn. The design is Korean style and I like the barbecue set up on the tables. The staff are friendly and helpful and this is one of few places where you can go by yourself and have a barbecue for one person. The barbecue food is absolutely delicious, you can get a mix between pork, lamb, beef and chicken along with some mushrooms and corn on the BBQ, you will be amazed. Of course there are other options besides barbecue, you can go for seafood or other great Korean dishes. The atmosphere is pretty good and is warm inside during the winter evenings. The place is accessible by transport. The prices are moderate, so with about 10 different barbecue skewers, it is very affordable. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who fancies Korean barbecue.

This family-run restaurant welcomes you with the warmth of true Taiwanese hospitality, making you feel right at home. The dishes we ordered were full of authentic flavours, just like what you would expect in Taiwan. The prices are very reasonable for today’s standards, and together with the delicious meals and caring service, it makes for a wonderful dining experience. This is a place we come back to again and again — highly recommended!
