THE ANGRY DOG - VIC

Bryce Roberts This place is a funky cosy little pub, come down and see the owner Matt who is a great guy. Meet Roxy the dog, who will bark until you give her a pat. Great to watch the sports on tv, cool background music. Best vibe in a bar ive been to in a long time.

Surasang Melbourne 수라상 멜버른 - VIC

Koi You know you’re in the right place for Korean food when you notice that several other patrons are Korean too, and I can’t wait to be back to sample more of the menu. There is such a wide selection of stews and dishes on the menu that it was so difficult to choose just one. I settled on the ox bone stew (? may not be the actual title) which was delightfully ‘clean’ and it felt like a warm hug from home. Loved that it was served with purple rice, as well as not just a couple, but EIGHT banchan / side dishes. I got to try my friend’s seafood roe stew too, and the flavours were so rich!

Roti Bar Little Collins St - VIC

Joneth great adventure ROTI BAR is a popular destination for Malaysian cuisine in Melbourne, and it can become quite crowded during peak hours, a clear reflection of its strong reputation. Despite the busy atmosphere, the food remains consistently impressive, offering generous portions at reasonable prices. Service is another highlight: the staff are warm, attentive, and accommodating, even when the restaurant is at full capacity. The menu has several standout items. The chicken skewers, the signature 65-spice chicken, and the coconut shake are particularly memorable and easy recommendations. Their fried rice and noodle dishes are also well executed, delivering comforting, well-balanced flavours. The desserts, however, are less remarkable; skipping them in favour of another coconut shake is likely the better choice. Overall, ROTI BAR is a reliable and enjoyable spot to bring friends for a Malaysian dining experience. A final tip: if you can smell the food from streets away, you are almost certainly heading in the right direction.

Aroma Restaurant - The Premium Pakistani Cuisine - VIC

Rida Motahhir Food was amazing, a little too spicy for my taste but otherwise the quality was outstanding. We ordered the chicken biryani (boneless), super bbq plater and chicken karahi. Everything was hot, well cooked and not too oily. Would definitely go again with family. Highly recommend!

Foglia di Fico - VIC

Henry Hsu Its number 1 on my lists of Italian restaurants to go in Melbourne. The ambient is real good. Dim and classy. The service staff are all well trained and polite as they are professional. I am served by abever smiling Mr. GIOVANI. He recommended the ox tongue and the mushroom pasta. The ox tongue is juicy and in generous portion. The critic sauce made the tongue not gamey at all. Overall, cozy environment, attentive and professional service team and wonderful yummy dishes... My kind of place

Ming Dining | Chinese Cantonese Restaurant - VIC

Katie Goldberg Hubby and I came for the bottomless brunch and honestly left wondering how this even exists in the Melbourne CBD. Seven courses of genuinely delicious modern Asian food, fine-dining vibes, and bottomless drinks for $69pp feels almost too good to be true. The food was the real standout - beautifully presented, full of flavour, and paced perfectly. A great mix of veg and non-veg options too, which we loved. Every course felt thoughtful rather than filler, and the truffle fried rice alone was worth the visit. The drinks just kept coming (eight different cocktails included!), service was attentive without being overbearing, and the whole experience felt relaxed but special - ideal for a long, boozy weekend brunch. We’ll absolutely be back and recommending this to everyone. If you’re after a high-quality bottomless brunch without the ridiculous price tag, this is a no-brainer.

Pretty Boy Bar & Restaurant - VIC

Katie Goldberg Pretty Boy is such a gem to have right inside the hotel - the perfect spot for an easy yet elevated dinner. Service was genuinely lovely, and the cocktails set the tone for a great night. For entrees, we went with the prawns and wings, both full of flavour and a great way to start. The steaks were a real highlight - tender, juicy, and cooked just right. We asked for some extra mustard on the side, and the team were more than happy to bring it over, which made the meal feel even more personal. The whole vibe is stylish but welcoming - a place where you can relax and enjoy without feeling rushed. Whether you’re staying at the hotel or just visiting, Pretty Boy makes for a fantastic dinner in the heart of the city.
