Brüger - VIC

K Y Amazing service, friendly staff, fast and great vibe. The burgers were very good, tasty. Will be back. The outdoor area is down the quieter side of the street which makes it a nice spot among the trees and lights.

Ras Dashen Ethiopian Restaurant - VIC

Sir Bazoongi ----- ORDERED ----- • Doro Wot • Special Clay Tibs • Shiro Wot • Misir Misto • Buna ----- FOOD ----- 1. Doro Wot The doro wot slapped, it was spiced well and the chicken was tender. Definitely worth getting when dining here. 2. Special Clay Tibs The special clay tibs tasted really good - a good mix of spicy, savory and smoky. However, I feel like we got more bones than actual meat. 3. Shiro Wot I liked the taste of the shiro wot as I generally like the taste of creamy chickpea dishes but Im not the biggest fan of the texture of powdered chickpeas. 4. Misir Misto Honestly a sleeper pick, I usually wouldnt go for vegetarian dishes but these two lentil dishes tasted really good with the injera - the sourness of the injera complimented the spicy and rich flavours of the lentils really well. 5. Buna Traditional Ethiopian coffee. I really liked it because Im a black coffee snob and it reminds me a little bit of Turkish coffee, but if youre the type of person to add milk and 4 spoons of sugar to your coffees, then Id tell you to give this one a miss. The presentation was really good. ----- SERVICE ----- Exceptional service. We got greeted by a lovely older gentleman and the guy who was serving us was very attentive and knowledgeable with recommendations on what to get. ----- PRICE:PORTION ----- Id say its slightly on the more expensive side (probably due to the location) but this isnt to say you wont leave full, thats what the injera is for. ----- CONSENSUS ----- Would recommend.

Xuan Anh Banh Cuon - VIC

The Mog Champ The Mog Champ sends his regards. The banh cuon (steamed rice rolls) here are amazing. The portions and fillings are generous and the cooking is genuine to Vietnamese standards. We ordered the banh cuon nan thit heo + banh tom (shrimp hash brown) which was delicious! Ordered a cold soy beans milk to go with the amazing food. Would recommend this to anyone in the area craving for steamed rice rolls. Thanks for the food Xuan Anh! Mogliest Regards, Your Mog Champ

Aangan Footscray - VIC

Gobi Warran We’ve been dining at Aangan West Footscray for over nine years, and the experience has been consistently outstanding every time. The food is always authentic, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. What really stands out is the consistency — after nearly a decade of visiting, the quality has never dropped. That reliability is hard to find and speaks volumes about the kitchen. The service is just as impressive. The restaurant manager has been looking after us all these years, always welcoming us warmly and ensuring we’re well taken care of. That level of personal attention makes every visit special. The restaurant is also very clean and well maintained, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality Indian cuisine and genuine hospitality in the area.

Chicken Joah - VIC

Nicholas Vo Went to Chicken Joah on the weekends with friends, massive group of 7 people, no booking was required, the staff was friendly and kind. Ordering food was simple, everyone could easily order what they wanted via their phone. In total the group ordered whole boneless chicken with soy garlic, chips, buckwheat noodles, half swicy and half soy garlic boneless chicken, another 2 half boneless chicken and two japchae with chili oil. The price of the items were decent as any other Korean restaurants would be, great atmosphere and all, staff are insanely nice really appreciate it. Highly recommend it to others, will be back. :)

Sazon bg - VIC

Joshua Antonelli My wife and I ate here tonight on Halloween, and everything was fantastic! The meals were full of flavor — my wife had the ribs, and the meat just melted off the bone. I ordered the churrasco, which was cooked perfectly and packed with taste. The portion sizes were generous and we left completely satisfied. The vibe was lively, with great Colombian music adding to the atmosphere. The only downside was a bit of a wait, but it was absolutely worth it for the quality of the food and the energy of the place.

Good Pizza - VIC

Zypp Douglas Great little place to have a pizza and a beer. The service was ok nothing special and its a bit of a challenge to find the place and a carpark but I guess that makes it a hidden gem. Really good pizza and would go back to try the others. Probably best to reserve a seat as there isnt many and it seems to fill up pretty quick. Definitely recommend going for a beer and good pizza.

First Taste - VIC

Kevin Leung Such a hidden gem in Footscray! Their claypot rice and fried rice are seriously delicious. The salted fish has that classic “Mui Heung 霉香” aged aroma — honestly, I can’t even find that true 80s/90s-style flavour back in Hong Kong anymore* but this place somehow delivers it. The double-boiled soup is rich and packed with ingredients, yet it’s comforting and not overly salty (you don’t feel thirsty after). Prices are also very affordable, amazing value for money. This has become my weekly go-to for authentic Cantonese comfort food. Highly recommended!
