Leigh Baragwanath I’m a regular patron at the Rise & I’m a regular patron for a few very simple reasons. Firstly, the food & the atmosphere is extremely welcoming, especially the staff. I haven’t met all of them, however one that comes to mind is a super friendly, almost bubbly young straw haired young lady by the name of Rylee. She is so attentive around the tables & leaves sunshine whenever she’s on duty. Rylee appears to be the Jack of all trades & nothing phases her. Her politeness is everyone’s envy. If you get a chance get yourself down to the rise for good old fashioned quality food and service.

One of the most authentic village style Sri Lankan meals we’ve had in Melbourne. Fabulous array of freshly made meat, fish and vegetable curries. Without a doubt, a must try if you want to try wholesome Sri Lankan cuisine. Food was excellent.

The food was a standout – fresh, full of flavour, and delivered promptly. The sliders were perfectly portioned, juicy, and packed with taste – a definite highlight to start the meal. But the real star of the night was the ribs – tender, fall-off-the-bone, and bursting with smoky, savoury goodness. Honestly, they were to die for. The service matched the quality of the food – quick, efficient, and always with a smile. We left full, happy, and already talking about when we’ll be back. Nayoung Kweon I got the original and the taste was amazing and I wasnt left with a sugary taste in my mouth like when you eat ice cream or froyo. As someone who doesnt really eat snacks I really enjoyed having a healthier option and 100% will be back if I’m in the area. Just wish they had a location in the cbd as it is too far!

A Z Haven’t been to TGI Fountain Gate in ages. Went on Sunday 22/2/26 for lunch. They have definitely stepped up their game! From the service (Shania was incredible and so hospitable!) to the food was perfect! The staff that cooked that day nailed EVERY dish! We ordered heaps of food and could not fault anything - the starters, sides, burgers, fajitas and steaks were flawless! And the cocktails - incredible! TGI Fridays - look after your team and retain them, we will be back very soon if this is the standard they set!
