Swara J Marge Jay, the owner of this amazing restaurant has truly made it possible to taste authentic tamil food all the way to Melbourne! We ordered the non-veg meal with goat biryani, and 3 curries, the quantity was great for the price and unbeatable with the taste and freshness of the food. We also ordered ghee podi idly, its the kind of podi you taste at home and everything is made fresh everyday. The staff is so friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere at the restaurant is homey and comfortable, the prices are unbelievably affordable and the food is incomparably good. Would definitely return and often! Kudos to the owners and staff for serving such great food!

Preethika Padmanabhan Very popular among the local Italian families! Hard to get a reservation on a Saturday. Great food, fresh made to order! This place is clean and organised. Can look a little dated from inside but sufficient enough to have a dinner with a friend. This place is not pretentious and usually a popular spot for family dinners. We ordered Chicken Parma, Calamari and Arancini balls. Everything was great and decently priced. Very attentive service and great work by the front of the house team! Highly recommend booking before coming in, they often dont have tables left at short notice - on the day of! Will be back!

Mick Plant Rainy Monday night in Melbourne and stepped into a restaurant i have driven past thousands of times, but never entetered, always thinking, " i must try that place", now i am so glad i did. Sheek kebab, Tandoori Chicken, Goat Vindaloo ( medium was hot not ridiculous, and great recommendation by our waitress), Saffron Rice & Garlic Naan was ravaged and thoroughly enjoy by us. Very comfy decor, service was very friendly, we will be back and i would recommend it to anyone in the area. Oh, and very, very reasonably priced, great value for money.

Karma Tashi Gurung The place has good ambience, good vibes and the food is so good. We had pork sekuwa, chicken jhol momo, chicken sausage, chicken chowmein. Every item we had tasted very good and was presented beautifully. Its located in Epping please do visit this place. The owner was very friendly and greeted and treated us well.

Republic Tavern is exactly what a wonderful Tavern experience is all about, PLUSSSS, it’s a brewery! I’m shocked that I didn’t know about this place earlier! Now, let’s talk about the other jewel on the crown here, THE FOOD! It’s not just flavours, it’s a statement! I’ve watched other places boast of their prowess, but this place, it just quietly makes you want more and more… my words do not justify the EXPERIENCE that you can get here. To the ones searching for a place to quench and chill, apart from getting mesmerised by the food… look no further! This is a place, that has the potential of becoming an institution! As we say in Hindi, ‘PAISA WASOOL’… or… ‘Worth Every God damn Dime’…

Love Cats This cozy little eatery offers friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere. It seems like a wonderful spot for a relaxed get-together, whether for a ladies lunch or friends catching up. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there, especially savoring a perfectly made cappuccino with just the right temperature.
