I recently visited Kubida BBQ with high expectations but was deeply disappointed by the overall experience. Here’s why:
1. Food Quality: We ordered a mixed doner kebab with lamb and chicken, two combos with fries, and a pizza. Unfortunately, the lamb and chicken in the doner kebab were cold and lacked flavor. It seemed as though they had been prepared in advance and simply reheated.
2. Fries: The fries tasted stale and looked unappetizing. It was obvious they’d been refried to make them appear fresh, but the taste was far from it.
3. Pizza: This was one of the most disappointing parts of the meal. The pizza was covered with a heap of raw onions and a single large slice of tomato on top of the bread, followed by some meat, chicken, and cheese. None of the toppings stayed in place—they just slid off, making it impossible to eat a proper slice. Even worse, the pizza was served cold, and after requesting it be reheated, it took another 10 minutes, but the texture and taste still left much to be desired.
4. Service: Although they did reheat the pizza on request, the quality issues remained. Serving cold food and reheating it in front of customers isn’t ideal and gave the impression of poor preparation.
In summary, my experience at Kubida BBQ was far from enjoyable. The food quality, taste, and presentation were well below expectations, and I left feeling disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend this place based on my experience.
