5 /5 Mahmut Aytekin: Lokum Turkish Grill is easily one of the best Turkish restaurants in Melbourne. Every dish we ordered was fresh, generous, and packed with real authentic flavour. The mixed grill was outstanding, with beautifully charred lamb, tender chicken, and perfectly seasoned kebab pieces served over fragrant rice. The meat was juicy and full of smoky flavour, and the portion size was beyond impressive.
The adana pide was another highlight, especially the amount of cheese in it. The dough was soft on the inside with a perfect golden crust, and the fillings were rich and delicious. The lahmacun was also exceptional, thin, crisp, and loaded with fresh herbs and spiced mince. You can taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite.
The service was warm and welcoming, and the food came out quickly despite how busy the place was. Everything tasted like it was made with real care.
If you love authentic Turkish food, Lokum Turkish Grill should be at the top of your list. Incredible flavours, great portions, and a genuine Turkish dining experience. Highly recommended.
