Foodieaus Taksim Square is hands down the best Halal Turkish restaurant I’ve ever tried in Melbourne. From the moment we walked in, the ambience was warm and elegant, setting the tone for a fine dining experience that felt both authentic and inviting. The menu offers a rich selection of traditional Turkish dishes — every plate was beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. From the freshly baked bread and dips to the perfectly grilled meats and delicious desserts like baklava, everything was spot on. Customer service was exceptional — friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food and culture. It’s rare to find a place that nails both the quality of food and the overall dining experience. If youre craving authentic Turkish cuisine with a touch of sophistication, Taksim Square is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back!

Izza T. Had a nice chicken schnitzel and also, quite literally the best tiramisu Ive ever had. The staff came forward and said it hasnt set yet but I still had it and it was SO GOOD!!!!! Im definitely coming back for it.

Kristen Recently had lunch at Angie’‘s kitchen in Moonee Ponds and everything about it was fantastic. The service staff are very friendly and accommodating. The venue is both cozy and spacious, offering tables and seating for parties of all different sizes. I love that you can order straight from your table via a tablet and then just wait for the food to come out. we ordered several different types of dumplings and the chicken satay sticks and everything was divine.

Sedef Ceviren Had the loveliest Valentine’s Day dinner at Quarter Two Cafe with my best friend last night! It was our first time dining in since they started their Friday and Saturday night dinner service, and wow — we were so impressed! We both devoured our pastas… and I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever had gnocchi that good before. It was absolutely next level. From the moment we arrived, the service was attentive and inviting. All the staff were smiley, polite, and made us feel so welcome. It really added to the whole experience. The drinks were amazing, and don’t even get me started on dessert — the tiramisu was so good we had to take some home! Such a great spot for a cheeky Friday night dinner. I’ll definitely be back (probably with my family next time!)

Maria Secksee Mine tastebuds burst forth with the flavours of Greek cuisine. Zeus served me the fries, hot and quick as the lightning above, Hades, my pita, nourishing as the fruit of Persephone, Poseidon, my drink, quenching as a swim in the sea. My lovely harem joined me on this adventure, queens of the mortal realm.

Yasith Jayawardana I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. They served the best Indian food I’ve had in a long time flavourful, fresh, and authentic. The service was warm and attentive, and the prices were fair for the quality offered. Thank you for a truly enjoyable meal, I’ll definitely be coming back.

Lydia Bevanda We had a fantastic night here for my son’s 3rd birthday. We booked the 5:30pm session with four adults and two children. The service and experience was fantastic. Very attentive and friendly staff. I am gluten intolerant and they took extra care of me. Would definitely recommend. Thank you :)

Apoorva Rai A comfort food gem! My Little Bento is everything its name promises and more. We came in for dinner and left with full hearts and happy tastebuds. The Chicken Katsu Curry Don was golden, crispy and generously coated in rich, velvety curry which was pure comfort in a bowl. The Karaage Chicken was perfectly crunchy and juicy, paired with chips that tasted like childhood nostalgia. The salmon dishes were standouts: the Grilled Salmon was smoky, tender and quietly elegant, while the Salmon Aburi Don was flame-kissed and buttery, melting into memory with every bite. Drinks were just as thoughtful. Yuzu Lemonade sparkled with citrus brightness, the sake was smooth and warming and the fresh orange and apple juice added a refreshing touch. Service was warm and attentive, and the space felt cozy yet vibrant. As a food creator, I’m always looking for meals that tell a story and this one whispered comfort, care and quiet joy in every bite. Highly recommend for anyone craving Japanese comfort food with heart.

Rob C What a welcome addition to Moonee Ponds Via Monte is. The staff are very friendly and the restaurant has a really good atmosphere. Pizzas are outstanding, plenty of flavour and a perfect base!!!! Without a doubt, best pizza I have had for a long time!!! Cant wait to go back!!!!
