Maxs Woodfired Pizza & Burgers - Food VIC

3 /5 Jeffrie Trika: What a pity ... an Italian inspired restaurant with a below average coffee. 5/10 for their latte, watery, bland and almost no coffee character at all. Pizza seems to be popular, however I did not try their food, hence the 6/10, benefit of the doubt.

1 /5 Anna B: A place that used to be so good and completely went downhills! The marguerite pizza is nothing more than a soggy bread dough with tomato sauce and 7 little rounds of mozzarella in it. The hamburger advertised as a 160 g patties has no more than 100g, if so. Sizes shrunk, quality completely gone and when you complain the answer is that this is how the food is served and that is it. 8pm the coffee machine was already off for a while and once a larger table left the place the heater was turned off and the place started to cool down as well as the lights were turned mostly off.... Not coming back at all! Pay for a pizza and receive bread with tomato sauce is a little too much!

5 /5 Elaine Thia: Im lucky to live near this establishment, we had many takeaway dinners here during lockdown and more recently been dining in with overseas relatives. Good atmosphere for kids, service could be quicker but understand that they are juggling both takeaway and diners. Food has been consistently good over the years. The Tues and Wed parma and pizza deals can make it quite affordable, too.

2 /5 Marcus Nicola: Returned to Max’s after a while away and sorry to say was disappointed. Food took ages to arrive, not all meals came out together and my salmon fillet was very stingy - thin and dry. Pizza topping was undercooked. Child’s burger was good. Would say I ordered the wrong thing - but have had salmon there before many times and have always been happy. Going to think twice before coming here again.
