3 /5 Critchlow Lee “Giz”: 1st time in here in 22yr so thought Id have a nosey and a bite to eat. I had fish n chips ($32),the batter was really thick crispy on the out side soggy underneath with small strips of fish in the center that fell out when I picked it up. Best part was the salad. My friend had the rib eye ($49) he asked for medium and got rare and was no-way worth what he payed,so its going to be another 22yr before I go back,next time Ill just keep walking upto Rose Cottage.

3 /5 Rooster Booster: 3 Stars for the Chicken Parma, most times very good, last nights was horrible. The sauce was tasteless which makes or breaks a good Parma :( 5 Stars for the service. All the staff there are customer focused & very helpful. 2 stars for Atmosphere, it was way to noisy. As a regular who attends Jacks Bistro every 2nd or 3rd weekend, I was surprised on how when this business is busy its very difficult to find parking, wait time from ordering to table was over 40 minutes, very noisy when large tables are arranged for quests in such a small dining area. We were placed at window seating area where we could feel a cold draft. And the Pokies lounge was also the same with patrons everywhere with little room to find seating to play a machine, due to others taking the seats or sitting on them to socialise to others patrons, basically not using the seats they were put there for. We ended our night out at the Bowls Pokies area for a bit of wind down, but last night we just walked out. First time ever have we ever experienced this & will note for future reference, if the car park is full, we will just drive out, booking or not.

3 /5 Rhonda Davies drew: Bit if a cold environment, fake blooms on tables! 18 for a seniors is a bit much particularly if you cant actually cook pork belly. Luckily I didnt break teeth on the crackling that was so not. Very generous 3 stars would prefer 2.5, not impressed. At all.
