Len McCr After driving past this cafe for a few years, we decided to give them a try. An absolute local gem, scrambled feta eggs on sourdough was amazing & a winner brekkie roll! Coffee and hot chocolates were all spot on. Friendly & efficient staff, our orders were taken quickly, and coffee was on the table in minutes. Food not long behind and nicely presented. Fresh quality ingredients really shone. We will be back to try the rest of the menu.

Sam McSkelsey We popped into this place randomly for a drink while waiting for a reservation across the road. Immediately fell in love with the place. Great vibe, feels like a local place without the intimidation of being their for the first time. Then asked if we could host my wifes 40th Birthday there and the whole process was like, so easy! We hired it out for 40 people, they all had a dope time, so many guests came up to me highlighting the venue, staff and owner and said they would definitely come back. I got my 40th next year and will definitely be booking.

George Slavchev We came to The Clifford on a whim on a Saturday night — we wanted dinner somewhere in the area and I saw the reviews, so decided to try it. Boy, was this a treat! We walked in and we were immediately shown to a table. The place was very busy, but there were still 2-3 tables available. The menu looked very nice. We started with the jalapeño croquettes, which were magical — fluffy and so delicious, with just the right amount of a kick. I decided to try the paella while my partner ordered a steak. Everything arrived promptly, yet, the owner himself came to apologise for the wait, saying how busy they were - there was honestly barely any wait. This was such a nice touch and showcased the fantastic service and the expectations staff set for themselves. Everything was incredibly delicious. The paella wasn’t authentic, but it didn’t have to be, as it was packed with calamari, mussels, and chorizo, and it was so tasty. The steak and its accompanying potatoes were great too. We decided to share a chocolate mousse for a dessert and this was a standout — it was a bit hard which surprised me, but, once it hit your tongue, it was soft and indulgent — amazing! Absolutely loved The Clifford and would definitely come back to try more of their menu!

Lynn Dong Really authentic Taiwanese food here. The fried chicken is my favorite, crispy on the outside, tender inside. Staff are super nice and welcoming.

Gary Traver My New Favorite Burger Place. Right next to the Ripponlea train station Rippers is convenient for a dinner stop or take away pickup when on the way home via train. I stopped for a quick meal Ordered a Burger, Fries (small) and a Slushi. The Burger was full of flavour. beautifully made. the sauce, pickles, the onions and the crunchy bacon. it was fantastic. The fries - made fresh, the coating was unique and enhanced the flavour. The people there were very friendly. I will definitely come back soon

Pinky Lala The food is great value and everything we ordered was very tasty. The staff were friendly and our meals arrived quickly and were piping hot and fresh. The added bonus of eight free vegetarian spring rolls for orders over a certain amount was a lovely surprise. They even gave us a complimentary bottle of zero alcohol beer to share. We truly enjoyed our meal and will definitely return to try other dishes on the menu.

Mordi Donn I absolutely love Frieds Deli! They have the best kugel and cholent—always flavorful and perfectly made. Their large selection of dips is delicious, and the deli roll is a must-try; its simply fantastic. The prices are very reasonable, and the food is consistently fresh and high quality. Chef Aron is a talented chef who really knows how to make every dish special. The staff is friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. I highly recommend Frieds Deli for anyone looking for great food and excellent service!
