Ayy M Thought we’d have a local lunch instead of going to the city. First mistake. We hadn’t been to The Linc for many years, after hearing mixed reviews. The refurbishment is very lovely and inviting, as were the staff, however the menu is drastically overpriced and doesn’t match the quality. My basic expectation when I eat out, is the food needs to be better than I can make at home myself. Very disappointing. Paying close to $40 for a piece of dried up chicken Maryland, two pieces of vegetables and half a plate of frozen chips is ludicrous. I could have perhaps overlooked the price if I was wowed by the flavour, alas it was lacking. My dining companion had duck risotto. Unfortunately the bones were still in it and the rice tasted boiled, not prepared in a traditional risotto method. Very disappointing and we won’t be back in a hurry. This place had so much potential but whoever is heading up the kitchen must have no tastebuds.

Ben Robinson Dropped into Le Saigon Banh Mi in Essendon North today. I had the crispy pork banh mi and a Vietnamese iced coffee. Both were really good. Fresh ingredients, great flavour, and the bread had that perfect crunch. My wife had the Vietnamese meatball banh mi and the salted coffee. She enjoyed both and said she’d happily go back. Simple, tasty food done well. Worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Will L I recently had the pleasure of trying one of the best burgers I’ve ever tasted! It was incredibly juicy, perfectly balanced, and cooked to absolute perfection. The flavors were spot on, and the overall experience was nothing short of amazing. I highly recommend this place. Thank you very much—I will definitely come back!

Aurora Calista Hasiholan Could never go wrong with the Crispy Pork Fried Rice. Or just the crispy pork in general, to be honest. Always my go-to whenever I eat here. The drinks were nice, too. Got the Taro and Coconut Smoothie and Strawberry Milkshake, both were delicious. Staff were also really kind and welcoming!

Snooze Food was a little bit pricy, but very tasty and authentic. Service was friendly and fast, we didnt have to wait long for food despite it being a bit busy. Building has a nice vibe to it as well.

Geoff Green Great little Vietnamese restaurant. Very tasty food and excellent staff. Have been there several times and was never disappointed. Would recommend this eatery any day of the week. Will certainly visit again.

Troy Small local cafe with gourmet toasties, bakery treats, and a small well stocked deli selling staples in an annex off the cafe. Good coffee. Limited outdoor seating.
