5 /5 Chris B: I was introduced to this small local shop many years ago, and it has been a favourite ever since. Whenever I am travelling near Mentone—especially around lunchtime—I will go out of my way to eat here. The shop serves a variety of freshly cooked Asian dishes, all prepared to order right in front of you. The food is consistently outstanding—healthy, flavoursome, and fresh. Despite being a small operation run by a single person, the quality control is exceptional, making it a true hidden gem. Prices are very reasonable, and although the shop’s appearance is modest and its décor unchanged for decades, it is spotless and well maintained. Don’t let looks deceive you—the food will more than impress. The owner is welcoming and always greets customers with a smile, creating a warm and personal dining experience. You can choose to dine in or order takeaway. My personal favourite is the wonton noodle soup, which is as good as it gets. For those who enjoy a little spice, the owner even grows his own chillies to add an extra kick to your meal. I highly recommend this place—you will not be disappointed. Noddle Yum Yum is proof that the best food often comes from humble surroundings.

5 /5 Malaikha Chan: There are many menu options and the prices are affordable. The food tastes great, and i always get a free spring roll when ordering takeaway. I also once saw the owner kindly serve a homeless person without treating them differently from other customers while I was ordering food there.

1 /5 Sachini Tharika: I ordered the nasi goreng and was really disappointed. The rice was clumpy and overcooked, the flavors were flat, and the vegetables were unevenly cooked. Definitely not the quality I expected for the price. Needs a big improvement in taste and preparation.
