Seoul Ttukbaegi Ashburton - VIC

Vivian Pham We chose this restaurant based on its Google reviews, and it was our first time visiting. We were truly impressed with both the food and the service. The ox bone soup was definitely the star of the meal and is highly recommended if you’re looking for something comforting. You can really taste the love and effort the chef put into this 36-hour slow-cooked soup. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and we will definitely be coming back again.

Ashys Afghan Restaurant - VIC

Amir We recently dined at this wonderful restaurant, and it was an absolute treat from start to finish. The standout was definitely the mixed kebab platter, a beautifully presented dish featuring juicy lamb chunks, tender chicken, and perfectly spiced koobideh kebab. The meats were cooked to perfection, each bite bursting with flavour. Paired with fluffy rice and a refreshing side of crisp salad, this dish was both satisfying and well-balanced. For dessert, we tried the rolled baklava, and it was just divine. The flaky pastry, subtly sweet syrup, and crushed pistachios created a rich, melt-in-your-mouth experience without being overly heavy. A perfect way to end the meal! The service was friendly and welcoming, and the portions were generous, excellent value for money. Whether youre already a fan of Persian food or curious to explore it, this place is a must visit. We’ll definitely be coming again.

Two Doors Brewing - VIC

Nick Weiland Two Doors Brewing has a beautiful feel, with food and drinks to match. My partner brought me there as a treat, and I knew nothing about it other than the menu would be coeliac friendly (Im one of those poor souls). As you enter there is a lovely bar where you can drink or dine, as well as a few tables. We were taken upstairs to our tables. The food was excellent, and the beer flight of gf beers went superbly with our entrees. The mains were lovely pub meals that were full of flavour and generous in portion. The desserts shone. We shared the sticky date pudding and the lamington special. They we both the equal of any glutenous version. The owner visited our table and told us how he and his partner started the restaurant so that his coeliac partner and daughter could enjoy a pub meal like anyone else. This place started out of love, and it shows.

Joe Frank - VIC

dexter hartono We have been coming here about fortnightly for almost 10 years. The food is top notch, and the service is excellent. Wife and I ordered a sandwich as a mid morning snack to share, and they served 2 halves on separate plates without asking. Coffee is genuinely one of the best in town (coming from an ex barista). Clean, milk never burnt. Thanks for the years of good food and drink. See you in a fortnight.

Sweet Tamarind - VIC

Sueda Dogan Super cute little spot with really tasty food. The staff was super friendly, which made the whole vibe even better. The food took a bit to come out, but honestly, we forgot all about that once we started eating—it was that good. Portions were solid, prices were totally reasonable, and we even had leftovers… and trust me, my partner and I *love* to eat. Definitely a great place—we’ll be back for sure.

Da Belcibo Ashwood - VIC

kenny fortaleza This restaurant is quite unassuming from the outside. I ordered the pasta bolognese and partner had chicken fungi. The pasta was aldente(perfect) and it might be the best bolognese I’ve ever had in Melbourne so far. It wasn’t too sour but just right for my taste. I asked for a side of Parmesan but it didn’t need it. Perfect as it is and paired with sauvignon blanc(crispy fruity). Next time I will come back try their pizzas and more pasta dishes! Great value for money.

Miss Ash cafe - VIC

Nikhil Karekar Visited Miss Ash Cafe for lunch. Nice, dainty cafe with pleny of seating both indoor and outdoors. Mostly frequented by locals. Staff was helpful and kind. Menu has some good options for both breakfast and lunch, albeit limited options for vegetarian/vegan. Portion size is not very large. Plenty of street parking available.

Kalye Marinas Filipino Grill and Seafood (Ashburton Branch) - VIC

Atlas Porter First of all the decorations of the place were really nice and well made. A lots of effort put in which I appreciated. The use of a paper straws that didnt get soggy on you was very cool and I like that they looked to be bamboo. The food came out quick and was hot. I had the calamari and chips but everyone on the table enjoyed their food. The calamari wasnt greasy or oily and tasted good, the chips were crunchy and salty. Overall a positive experience, I would definitely come again
