Nanling Liu We came across this small Korean and Japanese restaurant in Camberwell, the food was surprisingly affordable and delicious! I love how they have an open kitchen, I could see how the chef made my teriyaki beef, it was like a fantastic show! Additionally, the kitchen was organised and clean, which means that they looked after the kitchen carefully and that’s a restaurant I can trust. After about 15 minutes, our food came out. I loved my teriyaki beef and rice, the beef was tender and packed with flavours. They also offered various side dishes for us, which was generous. Their kimchi soup was one of the best ones I’ve ever had in Melbourne! It was rich, hearty, and flavourful! I could tell that they used some ingredients like Dangshen to add depth to the broth, which added an earthy note to the soup. I would love to come back for more! PS: The meal cost us only 35 dollars! What more could I ask for! Highly recommend for affordable but tasty meals.

Mark Luyun As a Filipino, I have always been picky and harsh when it comes to Filipino food outside of the Philippines. This hidden gem (at least for me) was a pleasant surprise. Don’t let the simple interior fool you as the food they make are all flavour bombs. Starting with the sisig soft shell taco, it’s meaty, it’s as sisig as it can be, bar the mayonnaise (apologies to purists). Chicken Inasal was spot on, smoky with the right amount of spice and a hint of lemongrass, took me straight to chooks heaven. Pinaputok na bangus perfectly fried and paired with white rice and atchara. What more could you ask for? Give this place a try and I’m sure you won’t regret it. Bang for buck in today’s economy.

Eden Lin I had dinner here last night and it was such a wonderful experience! The food was absolutely delicious — full of flavor and freshly prepared. On top of that, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the meal even more enjoyable. I really appreciate their warm hospitality. Definitely a place I’d love to come back to and recommend to others!

Nikos I recently had the pleasure of dining at Squires Loft, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. This steakhouse truly stands out for its outstanding quality of produce and impeccable food preparation. The menu offers a great range of food options, including kids meals, making it a perfect choice for families. Its also ideal for large groups, with shared meal options that cater to everyone. The extensive wine selection is impressive, ensuring theres something to complement every dish. The atmosphere at Squires Loft is warm and inviting, a comfortable and spacious dining room. The accessible facilities are a thoughtful touch, making it easy for everyone to enjoy their meal. Our waiter, Cara, was extremely helpful and attentive. She provided excellent advice and delivered calm, friendly service throughout our visit. Our meals were delicious and perfectly prepared. Each steak was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor and incredibly tender. The accompanying sauces were a delightful surprise, with the blue cheese sauce being a personal favorite. Overall, Squires Loft offers a fantastic dining experience with top-notch service, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Elisa We had a great breakfast experience at Collective Espresso in Camberwell. The service was friendly and efficient, and the space had a relaxed, welcoming vibe—perfect for a slow morning. The real highlights were the meals: the French toast came loaded with fresh fruit, a hint of lemon, and a delicious blueberry jam. Beautifully balanced and not overly sweet. The Pork Benny was a standout—topped with slow-cooked pork and handmade potatoes fritters. Incredibly juicy, tender, and full of flavour. Portion sizes were generous and presentation was great too. Highly recommend if youre in the area and looking for a brunch spot that nails both food and atmosphere.

Zsuzsika Such a beautiful restaurant. The staff went out of their way to make it an exceptional experience for our large group on a Saturday night. The food was wonderful -especially the seafood pasta - a nice wine list too! The staff were very accommodating in splitting the bill. Highly recommended!

CJ H. Cosy restaurant with friendly ambience and nice decor. We only tried their pastas and risotto for dinner and they’re wonderful : fresh ingredients, generous portions, tasty and piping hot. Loved the fettuccine, penne, gnocchi and risotto. Will dine here again for sure.

Nuoya Li Cute cafe for a spot of weekend brunch. The food was delicious! We ordered BLAT without tomato, and Grilld greens (which was surprisingly filling), and a dessert of banana bread (so so good, you must try this dish). Very friendly and professional service. It is quite busy on the weekend so be prepared to wait a little, but it is worth it.
