Samantha Kupie What an amazing find at the Lygon Street market on Sunday. We hadn’t eaten breakfast, but had a dinner reservation in the evening so we wanted something filling enough to get us through to the evening but on the smaller side. Frasta delivered x 100! The branding and customer service made an awesome first impression. I ordered the Calabrian-inspired option and my partner chose the carbonara option. I had mine in the standard presentation, my partner wanted his with the toppings on the side. Both were presented so beautifully, with a bit of salad and with an undeniable amount of love and care. It was obvious that the chef was passionate about his art! The flavours and textures were 10 out of 10. The inside was juicy and full of flavour, while the crust was crisp and crunchy perfection. What also impressed me was how non-greasy this was for a deep fried food. Honestly, fried pasta wouldn’t be my go-to choice ordinarily, but I would have this again and again! Despite feeling a bit full, we had to finish it off with a couple of Dennis’s house made cannoli. They were some of the best I have eaten in the longest time (and I have tried a few!). The matcha flavour was spot on, but I have to say that the ricotta and candied orange was absolutely wonderful. The ricotta was smooth and had just the right amount of orange flavour, while the shell was crisp and flaky and easy enough to bite into. This was the most surprising and pleasant food surprise I’ve had in ages. We wish Dennis so much success with Frasta, an amazing independent business that you absolutely have to try!! 5 stars all the way!!

luma khoshaba It was a very hot day, and after a not-so-great experience at another restaurant nearby, I took my two young daughters to La Botte Pizza. As soon as we walked in, it was cool inside and smelled amazing. My daughters smiled straight away and said, “Dad, this place is better,” which honestly said it all. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming without being over the top. The pizza was fresh, full of flavour, and exactly what we needed after such a warm day. La Botte Pizza really turned our evening around and made it a nice, easy family outing. We were happy we stopped by and would definitely go back again.

Jasmine Great food, great service and great vibes. We ordered four pizzas, beer and aperol spritz’s all were delicious and the toppings were v good quality. The only thing is that the price is pretty high for a local venue, but quality was worth it imo.

Aruba Rizwan One of the best panini places I’ve tried in Melbourne. Their pasta and pizza are also very good! I recommend their Nonna Rosa panini - it’s the best :) must try place!!

Fariha Islam We had dinner here last night and the food tasted amazing! We ordered Red curry (with chicken) and Thai fried rice (with beef). The staff was super nice and we enjoyed a quiet dinner. Definitely coming back here! 10/10!

Moggie Love this place! Consistently great coffee made by the loveliest people. Has become my daily grab and go before jumping on the tram to work. If i miss breakfast, I cant resist the delicious cheese and pickle sandwich with its salted butter toasted bread.

Sarah Downes I got the garlic potato pizza and it was bloody amazing! Took a while but thats the nature of a fresh potato pizza, just order ahead of time. Highly recommend!

Aruba Rizwan One of the best hidden burger gems in Melbourne! I loved their Nashville chicken it was sooo juicy and even their chicken wings are so tender and spicy! Love the service and I hope more people try it as it’s truly so so good!!! :)
