1 /5 Amanda Bradford: I was left really disappointed by my experience at Pizza Base today. I used to love coming here as the pizza was freshly cooked to perfection but it seems like the pizza shop has recently changed owners and the service has now deteriorated. My $12 vegetarian pizza was sparsely covered with pineapple, cheese, mushrooms, capsicum and tiny shreds of baby spinach. It was noticeably smaller in size, as you can see relative to my hand. The previous owners used to top the vegetarian pizza with olives and sun-dried tomato, plus saganaki cheese - it was sensational (and you can see the quality of the pizza in photos previously uploaded by other reviewers more than 1 year ago!) Without the gourmet toppings, the pizza served today was bland and tasteless. The Indian lady who served me seemed polite but lacked any personality or chit chat that the previous owners used to have - she disappeared across the other side of the counter and didnt want to engage with me any more than required. But the worst part was the burnt base which made the pizza barely edible. Sadly, after todays experience, I wont be coming back here with my family which is a real shame

4 /5 Marls D: We attended my daughters footy game across the road. We saw a boy eating pizza from the box. We developed a craving. We searched out a pizza place and found it. The boys were friendly. The pizza was good! We were satisfied. We left happy. Highly recommend

1 /5 Peter Calgaro: I went there and wanted a beef pasta carbonara expecting a carbonara sauce. In stead it came with egg plant and other type of things in it. When I questioned the owner she told me that she changed the recipe. So I’m actual fact it’s Not Carbonara. She made me wait for half an hour arguing with me about what people want or don’t but never offered me a refund. Eventually after I suggested she return my money for falsely advertising something it wasn’t. Then when I said to her that there was a fly flying around and landing on her pizzas she told me that it’s summer. And that she threw out the pizzas it landed on? Mind you…. She wasn’t there and denied that there was any flys in the cabinet. At least the young girl behind the counter was honest and agreed that there was a fly in there. The owner of this place is also the owner of Outlet Kebab. So customers Be Aware of the situation and choose wisely or give this place a big Miss and look after your health
