1 /5 Luis Calderon: I’ve had the chance to visit this restaurant twice, and my experiences couldn’t have been more different. My first visit was quite enjoyable, with flavorful dishes and a pleasant atmosphere that left me looking forward to coming back. However, my second experience was disappointing enough to make me rethink returning.
Today, I decided to try the roast pork meal, drawn in by the promise of crispy crackling and tender meat. Unfortunately, what I received fell far short of those expectations. The pork was incredibly dry, and the saltiness was overwhelming, making it difficult to enjoy the dish. I paid $16 for this meal, and for that price, I anticipated a satisfying portion and quality food. Instead, I was served a tiny portion that left me feeling cheated.
The lack of pork crackles was another letdown. I was hoping for that satisfying crunch that complements the richness of the meat, but I barely found any. Most of the pieces I received were the end bits of the pork, which were tough and dry—quite unappetizing. To top it off, the gravy was more like water than a rich sauce, failing to add any flavour or moisture to the dish. It was all over the box. Thought I ordered some gravy sauce for a minute.
Overall, this meal felt like a waste of money. Definitely not worth $16. If I could leave 0 stars i would. If I could return the meal for a refund after I seen that I was only given end bits, i 1000000% would. I left feeling dissatisfied, which is the opposite of what dining out should be about. I can’t help but feel that there are far better options out there for the price. Given this experience, I’m hesitant to return, especially for the roast pork. I wouldn’t recommend or come back. It’s unfortunate because my first visit had potential, but this second one was a real letdown. Staff are RUDE. The gentleman was nice.
