Sheryn M. We were served by the delightful Mariah, and cannot praise the service highly enough. Mariah was friendly, genuine, respectful, knowledgeable, and a huge asset to establishment. Food was enjoyable. Its not the place to go if you are looking to dine with quiet ambience, but hey, its The Sporting Globe.

Stars&Snarks Really wide menu variety! Fried rice is awesome and our favorite shao mai / dumplings. Good portions and served fresh /hot. We were served well and staff is very patient and attentive. We visited during weekday upon opening and it was quiet. Also to mention well priced so a good value for money.

Events Shanahan (Events & Wedding Hire) Amazing Venue with a breathtaking view of their vineyard. We love serving Bubble Tea there and the staff were super friendly and always offer to help us unload our van or offer us a drink on a hot day. Love coming here. They really put alot of love and attention into their work, which is why they only do one wedding a day. Loads of parking.

Jennifer Merritt Seriously great discovery for the Lilydale/Chirnside locals. Food was phenomenal and very accommodating of our children’s pasta requests! Service from Chris and Natasha was fantastic. Will definitely be back to this little gem.

Priyanka Patel We had a fantastic dinner last night and every dish hit the mark. The roast lamb shoulder was beautifully cooked—tender, full of flavour, and perfectly paired with a fresh, well-balanced salad. The kids’ meals were just as impressive: the chicken nuggets and fish & chips were a big hit, especially the chips, which were incredibly crispy and clearly made with care. We finished the meal with the skillet cake and trifle, and both desserts were the perfect sweet ending—rich, comforting, and absolutely delicious. Overall, a wonderful dining experience with great food for both adults and kids. We’ll definitely be back

Leif E. Hogden Its no longer called Parma hub. Its Ritas pizza. But the do have chicken Parma. And its good. But the GPS takes you to a place that doesnt exist anymore. Its a good tourist stop on the way toor from the healsville sanctuary. Now youre an ausie.

Xu Penghui It’s rare to find the best beer from my hometown right here in Mooroolbark. The soft opening specials are great value, and the food was a pleasant surprise — beautifully presented with unique flavours. The orange beef meatballs were a standout. The owner noticed I enjoy a drink and recommended a yuzu rice wine — sweet, tangy, and very easy to drink. I was told it’s imported from Japan, and it honestly felt like a little surprise. They really do find ways to surprise me every now and then.

Malcolm BATTLEY The Chirnside Park Country Club is off Maroondah Hwy in a quiet location. Friday nights a regular Guitarist plays popular songs 6:30-9:30 pm. Food and drinks are competitively priced with a Good menu. Staff are friendly and efficient with No aggressive security like some other clubs. Recently, a Mini Golf course has been added and Morning Melodies are once a month at $10 including morning tea. A point system is used to tally food and drink purchases, so you can spend your points. The gas fire in the Lounge and lighting are Good with nice furnishings. Bathrooms are always clean. Easy card system at Reception to check in.
