Little Sister Brighton - VIC

Dafni Tre Absolutely fantastic experience at Little Sister Cafe! We had the prawn salad, eggs Benedict, and two freshly squeezed orange juices, and everything was perfection. The prawn salad was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, while the eggs Benedict had perfectly poached eggs and a rich, creamy hollandaise sauce. The freshly squeezed orange juice was a refreshing delight—just what we needed! The atmosphere was cozy, the service was attentive and friendly, and the overall experience was top-notch. Highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for delicious food and great vibes!

Captain & Co Fish Bar (Fish & Chips) - VIC

JoJo Foo This place is not your regular fish n chip spot, they really did a good job of supplying your favourites but also giving you options that are a little more unique and creative. Really enjoyed the seafood mixed grill and Tuna Ceviche. Will definitely be back to try more fun dishes!

The Tamper Trap - VIC

Leo Nguyen Great coffee, nice view and great food. They made some mistakes with our orders, but quickly to have it resolved. I was quite happy with their customers services. They locate inside a building so you need a code to use the bathroom, which I found a bit inconvenient but it doesn’t really affect the overall experience.

AKABA JAPANESE RESTAURANT - VIC

Angie Bee This is definitely a local gem of a restaurant, and youd never see it from the street as its tucked away in a mini "arcade" type of passageway leading from a car park to Bay Street. However, seeing how busy they were the whole night - both with patrons and take out orders - its clear that they are popular and now I see why. While they pack you in tight, and tables are small, and food service was slow, the food itself more than made up for it. The food here was DELICIOUS and whenever we are allowed to eat out again, I cannot wait to go back (will probably have to do a takeout order). Everything is fresh and delicious and well presented and simply yummy. I even had cooked tuna maki (usually raw tuna is used) and it was such a great flavour. Their Salmon Tataki is heavenly, and everything else that my companions ate looked good and they said was delicious too. Pricing ... Japanese isnt cheap. But overall, I think its reasonably priced here and again, the food is totally worth it. I cannot wait to come back as its now definitely one of my favourite Japanese restaurants around. (just also be prepared to search high and low for parking, depending when it is you visit).

Ichika-Sushi & Asian Cuisine - VIC

Gem Had the delicious spicy ramen!!! Super yummy with four pieces of the meat, corn, an egg, noodles and garnish. The broth had a nice kick to it yet maintained the traditional ramen broth flavour. Definitely recommend!!

The Alchemists’ Kitchen - VIC

Michael Chao Owners are the most welcoming gracious hosts. Have come multiple occasions, through various menu changes and always had a great night. The atmosphere is lively without being too loud. Awesome to have a local spot serving delicious evolving food. $25 corkage fee is so reasonable and such a bonus in this day and age. Plus they have proper stemware to suit.

Bok Choy Chinese Cuisine - VIC

Angie Bee I love Chinese food, and honestly, this is the best Ive found in Melbourne. The food is consistently good and while its a tad on the pricey side, the service is great and food is yum. I usually get Chicken Fried Rice or some other kind of poultry dish. Everything Ive ever had here is fantastic. Even their basic vegetarian spring rolls are really good. The minor downsides are that parking can be tricky and you may need to park a little bit away from here (which is a pain in the butt on a rainy night). Also, yes, a little on the pricey side as I mentioned before. But honestly, if you want good food and good service, then this is definitely worth trying.
