Han Yu Tan I got the broken rice for $10 and it’s pretty good. The pork chop was cooked well, not tough. Good sauce and egg. It’s a simple dish done pretty well for a very affordable price. On the weekend, it gets really packed and cramped, but otherwise food is good.

Justin Tan I have the Bun Rieu, crab noodle soup. It costs $15. Portions are generous with lots of ingredients, including pigs blood. Theres no MSG. The soup has a sweet fermented aroma when it was served. Highly recommend. Had the Cambodian noodle soup on a second occasion. Unlike the restaurant next door, this version has lots of pigs offals. Great if you like pigs offals. $15. Had the salt and pepper chicken ribs. Delicious. $15. My review of the Bun Bo Hue on a separate experience - its not authentic; no pork knuckles, no Vietnamese meat loaf, no taste of the lemon grass shavings. But soup is acceptable in taste. I wouldnt recommend this dish. Paid $15.

Kaustav BZ We ordered for a Mocha coffee with a dash of Baileys and a Hot Chocolate with a dash of Frangelico. The chef made it fresh and the taste of both the coffee and the hot chocolate was amazing. We had a good time at the cafe. Will definitely visit more.

Ruby Li Great place for everyday Chinese food. The rice bowls and rice noodles are consistently tasty and filling, perfect for a quick meal. The flavours are well balanced and feel very homestyle. Portions are generous for the price, and the staff are friendly. Definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to.

Hoa Tran Restaurant - VIC

Jade Lim Great food and efficient service. This place is always packed, but service is fast and friendly so you’re never waiting long. Heaps of variety; from noodle soup to rice dishes and stir fries. We ordered the double pork chop with broken rice — really yum — and the flame-grilled chicken vermicelli salad, which was fresh and flavourful. The Malaysian-style chicken fried rice noodles with egg gravy were a standout, and both the chicken and pork were incredibly tender. Everything we tried was really good overall, though the special fried rice was just average compared to the rest. Definitely worth a visit if you don’t mind a busy spot with consistently good food.

aqualine (Soren) Great food! $22 for a huge upsize bowl of Pho. The server was also kind enough to keep my purse safe for me after I left it there until I could collect it. Will be returning!
