5 /5 Ammar Ansari: Went Againnn!!! Tried Sahib-e-Swaad in Clayton today and wow… this place is next level! I had their Amritsari Kulcha, served with Chole, Achar, and Salad and honestly, it was crazy amazing! The flavors, the crunch, the spice everything just hit perfectly. Also tried their AK-47 Paneer, and that was equally delicious, rich, and full of that authentic Punjabi taste you rarely find here. Honestly, this is one of the best, most genuine Indian Punjabi food experiences I’ve ever had in Melbourne. If you’re in Clayton and craving proper desi flavor, this is a must-visit. Not gonna lie they had real swaad!

The Amritsari Kulcha with Chole is the clear standout — perfectly crisp on the outside, soft inside, and generously stuffed. Paired with the rich, flavourful chole, it delivers that true street-style Amritsar taste that’s hard to find. The Aloo Paratha is equally impressive, well-seasoned and cooked just right, served with accompaniments that elevate every bite. To finish on a sweet note, the Royal Faluda is a delight — creamy, refreshing, and indulgent without being overly sweet, making it the perfect dessert after a hearty meal. Portion sizes are generous, ingredients taste fresh, and the flavours feel homely and authentic. Service is quick and friendly, adding to the overall pleasant experience. 2 /5 dinal patel: The food taste was okay, but the hygiene needs serious improvement. There were oily spots on the spoons, plates, and even on the table, which was disappointing. I ordered Bhalla Papdi Chaat, and it tasted like it was frozen and not freshly prepared. However, the chap and samosa chana chat flavour itself was good. I hope the restaurant works on cleanliness.

5 /5 Kazi Fattah: One of the best vegetarian Indian restaurants in Melbourne. Food is incredibly delicious and not too spicy at all. Tried the Afghani Chaap and Malai Paneer with garlic naan which was really, really good. Service was a bit slow but it was 11pm at night so understandable. Will definitely go back there the next time I’m in the area.
