Kuol Malou A Restaurant that feels like walking into someone’s home.
I stopped in today and ordered the hoppers, and honestly, it felt like being handed a piece of history. The flavours are real, grounded, and made with the kind of care you only get from a family kitchen.
The atmosphere here is warm, the owners talk to you like they’ve known you for years, and the menu feels like it was written from their home to your table.
I wasn’t even planning to order the fish cutlets, but after trying two… then four… then six… I ended up asking for takeaway. Funny thing is, they told me the cutlets weren’t even going to be on the new menu, but after today, they said they’ll add it to the 2026 menu. You’ll just have to wait for that one and trust me, it’s worth the wait.
This place is special. It’s family. It’s community.
Exciting times ahead for the Prince of Yazh and for Dandenong. Highly recommended.
