1 /5 luke two: I have never ever had a satisfying experience with Sammy Boys pizza. They overload the pizzas with their rubbery tasteless cheese and give you a sprinkle of whatever toppings you order. The value is not there at all you have to overpay for a underwhelming pizza at best. The sauce is tasteless and has no good properties. The store itself is dirty, the service is not bad at all but every other aspect is just terrible. The only way I would consider eating here again is if they;
-Clean their store properly (I don’t think many people like the idea of eating from somewhere dirty)
-Either lower prices or add more toppings besides god damn cheese (as I mentioned before they overload it with cheese and put barely any toppings, my point is the value is not good)
-For gods sake find a different cheese supplier it is literal rubber and they put it on your pizza like it’s holy cheese from jesus himself it is not pleasant at all.
Overall, It’s tasteless, underwhelming, dirty and terrible value.
Update:
Greetings owner of Sammy’s,
Thanks for the reply.
To clarify: the pizza was ordered for our household and eaten immediately after pickup, I didn’t directly order myself but that’s besides the point — so yes, the pizza was absolutely from your store. Not sure why you couldn’t “find the order”, but that doesn’t change what arrived at our table.
Regarding cleanliness: customers judge based on what they can see. If people have told you the store is clean, great — that wasn’t the impression given during our experience, and reviews are based on customer perception, not internal standards.
As for the cheese: calling it “premium” doesn’t automatically make it good. Regardless of brand, the result was an overloaded, rubbery texture that drowned out the toppings and flavour. Quality is about execution, not labels.
This review isn’t from a competitor — it’s from someone who ate the pizza and didn’t enjoy it. Dismissing criticism instead of addressing it just reinforces the concerns raised.
My feedback stands: poor balance, weak flavour, bad value for money.
