Dee Gaut A really enjoyable dining experience overall, made even better by a fabulous waitress who was attentive, friendly, and genuinely lovely — the kind of service that instantly puts you in a good mood. The spaghetti marinara was excellent: fresh, full of seafood, and beautifully balanced, with rich flavors that felt generous and well executed. The burrata cheese ball with prosciutto was another highlight — creamy, indulgent, and perfectly paired with the salty prosciutto. Simple, elegant, and delicious. A perfectly balanced bruschetta was also enjoyed by our group. The bolognese, however, was fairly ordinary — not bad by any means, more child friendly, just lacking the depth and richness, you’d expect compared to the standout dishes. Cocktails were excellent in flavor, especially the cosmopolitan, though it was on the smaller side. Still, it was well mixed and enjoyable. Great service, some truly standout dishes, and a few minor misses — overall, a place worth returning to, especially for the seafood pasta, burrata, and the wonderful staff.

Roland Auer ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Finally, Patterson Lakes Has a Restaurant Worth Talking About! It is so good to finally have a restaurant in Patterson Lakes where you can go and truly enjoy quality food. This Thai restaurant is the real deal — authentic Thai cuisine elevated to an upper-class dining experience. It is definitely not your standard Thai takeaway fare. The dishes show creativity, modern presentation, and a chef who clearly knows authentic Thai flavours inside out. It is a small place, but the food is outstanding. Our family has already been three times, and every visit has been just as impressive. The staff are lovely and attentive, and the pricing feels fair — not cheap, not expensive, just right for what you get. The atmosphere is modern but simple. It is a small space, so it is more about the food and the company than fancy décor — and that’s perfectly fine because the food really steals the show. If you take the time to read the story in their menu, it all makes sense — the care, the passion, and the authenticity behind what they do. I can only say: this place is something else. Highly recommended. Patterson Lakes finally has a restaurant serving food with real class.

Tadhg Burns If you’re after really tasty Thai food with a friendly vibe, Thai On Thames Restaurant in Chelsea Heights is definitely worth a visit. The food here is consistently fresh, flavoursome and well-priced — from rich curries and spicy noodles to classic favourites that hit the spot every time. What really makes this place stand out, though, is the service. The young team running the restaurant are welcoming, attentive and genuinely happy to help — whether you’re dining in, ordering takeaway or picking up an Uber Eats order. Their energy and positive attitude really add to the experience, and you can tell they take pride in what they do. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual, yet the staff always make you feel looked after. If you want a delicious meal with great service from a local crew who clearly care about the food and their customers, this is a solid choice.

Jackie Saluni I highly recommend Fat Chef Carrum Downs. We came here last year in December as a family of 7 and ordered their premium board which includes a massive tomahawk steak, porterhouse steaks, lamb skewers, juicy parmas x4, grilled chicken strips and usually prawns and calamari. Due to our religious dietary requirements, they happily offered us alternates for the prawn and calamari. We all ate more than enough and still couldn’t finish the food and had a lot to take home. We then decided to book their front event room for my husband’s 50th birthday lunch for an intimate gathering of 55 close family and friends. We ordered 7 of their premium boards, plus a number of vegetarian meals, garlic bread and wedges as starters and around 18 jugs of soft drinks and bottles of water. The way Ding and his staff accommodated our group and timed to perfection the cooking and arrival of the food, everything ran smoothly and our guests were more than impressed with the delicious food, the size of the platters and the amazing and friendly staff. The tomahawk steaks not only added that wow factor but they were cooked perfectly to our taste. Just amazing! All this whilst still providing impeccable service and food to the main room for the busy lunch hours. They didn’t rush us and allowed us to enjoy a wonderful time together in a great venue, with good company and delicious food. There was so much left for our guests to take home too! If you’re thinking of a place to eat with the family or to put on an event, I couldn’t recommend this place any more! We will see you again soon Ding and the fantastic team at Fat Chef Carrum Downs. William Seeto Food looked as good as it tasted really fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. The crispy chicken was perfectly crunchy without being greasy, and the bánh mì had amazing bread with juicy, well seasoned pork. Definitely coming back.

Crissy NOT CRAZY Amazing service from the Lady who was in charged when we had brunch Sunday 21st. She was amazing and did a good job. Lovely food, big serving as you can see from the photo. Just cold outside if it’s windy. Great place if you have furry friends.

Melanie O’Sullivan Never had a negative experience at this restaurant been here many times and the food is so delicious. It made me go from liking Indian food to absolutely loving it. Its my favourite restaurant. It can be a little pricey but we try to only order what we know we will be able to get through and not too many drinks. Its amazing food and great service although sometimes it takes a while to get the waiter to come back out to see if we need anything else after initial order. We love this place though so worth the wait.
