XINYI YUAN Tried a few dishes this time and everything was really well executed.
The Laphet Toke was a standout — refreshing, slightly bitter from the tea leaves with a nice crunch from the nuts. Very well balanced and quite unique.
The Signature Chicken Wings were crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and the sauce had a great sweet-tangy kick. Hard to stop eating.
Even the Chips were done well — crisp, light and not greasy at all.
For mains, the Tofu Noodle was rich and comforting without being too heavy, and the combination of tofu and chicken worked beautifully.
The Nan Gyi Thoke was bright and flavourful, with tender chicken and a really satisfying texture.
The Special Beef Curry was warming and comforting, with soft, well-cooked beef that paired perfectly with steamed rice.
A great balance of flavours and textures across the menu. You can really tell care has gone into the food — will definitely be back.
