112 York - VIC

Jill Leone This cafe is a hidden gem. If you are looking for a quick stop to get a gourmet sandwiches for breakfast or lunch, look no further. The breakfast brisket sandwich was to die for. Anything you try here will be delicious. The coffee is also just as good. Te and Gene make you feel right at home. They are a great time and super friendly. Also, I love how we were able to get New Zealand drinks- snacks from there. The Long White drinks are the best seltzers I have ever had and they have them for sale at the shop. I found out that they are the only place I can get them. Highly recommend!

Railway Hotel South Melbourne - VIC

Scout Serradura The Railway Hotel South Melbourne is one of the best pubs ever. Their food is always delicious and really generous serving sizes. Staff are always so helpful and nice and the vibe is very much everyone is welcome. Yesterday I had my birthday dinner here and they were so accomodating to my party size which changed twice (-_-) and also to allow us to pay separately. To summarise: Go to this pub!!

ST. ALi Coffee Roasters - South Melbourne - VIC

Sadewa 48 This might be one of the best coffee shops to try in Melbourne! Tried one of their signature drinks and also the batch brew. Forgot which one we ordered (shown in the photos), but that one tastes absolutely phenomenal. The coffee and the cream pairs really well, the cream on top elevates the texture, and overall it is well balanced and it is not too heavy and not too sweet. Definitely recommend trying this one! The batch brew also tastes ok, as it has nice flavours. As for the service, the hospitality is top notch. The staff are very friendly and explains the menu items well. The place has lots of seatings to choose from. It has indoors and outdoors as well. Overall, this is a great place and highly recommend to visit here when coming to Melbourne!

Greek’n Out - VIC

Broothan Nowadays most small kebab shops are using premade meat stacking. There are providers to deliver these ‘meat’ to these small front kebab shops and it doesn’t taste like any real meat at all. Not like 25 years ago every single small Greek street shop they used real meat and self prepared everything ( makes the food so delicious ). I guess this is something pathetic of 21st century which centre kitchen or factory took over the food preparation and made things plastic. Whilst this Greek restaurant use real meat to serve which is quite rare these days and appreciated. Love this place and will recommend to come and try.

THAI 29 RESTAURANT - VIC

Tracey Ford This is a great little Thai restaurant. The food is always so fresh, tasty and amazing. A lot of options on the menu ranging from entrees through to mains. Absolutely recommend the rotti with satay sauce, chicken curry puffs, crispy chicken wings, Pad See Ew and Tom yum fried rice. Staff are always happy and smiling. Small dining area inside and out, recommend booking ahead. Definitely worth a visit.

Smithburg. - VIC

SalmonSashimiMermaid Came here for the halifax lobster roll, and they did not disappoint! Buttery and juicy lobster on a soft and light butter-brushed brioche bun (+ a sprinkle of chilli oil as a complement upon my request!) And no kidding, that burger stole the entire show! Every bite is just packed with juice and flavor. Good thing we tried that one too! Easily one of the best burgers we’ve had!

Otōto Bar & Eatery - VIC

MEL Foodie Nice Asian fusion restaurant in town. The aged duck for main and squid salad are devine. Cosy place to catch up with friends or date. Make sure you look carefully for the restaurant as the entrance is quite hidden and easy to miss on Flinders Lane.
