Southgate - Food VIC

Bradley Posselt I was in need of a venue for a corporate function our business was organising and we were looking for a venue in the Southbank area of Melbourne. I came across Southbank Melbourne Venues’ website and they had several suitable venues. I contacted them and they got back to me with various different options to choose from. It was really simple and we booked the function the next day. The event turned out to be a great success and we plan on using some of their other venues in the future. The customer service we received from Geoff was excellent.

L Very delicious, bang for your buck Japanese food. The total for 4 main dishes and a dinners only $58. The katsu curry was delicious, with a slight tang in the sauce. It did get quite busy which was annoying as people would stand around and block the passage.

Saikat Sengupta Food was nice. We had AYAM BAKAR + NASI BAKAR and nasi goreng. Taste was very nice compared to the price. Fast service.

Sophia Go Really clean nice place to eat. Not loud or noisy, we were served by Keira who was so friendly and helpful. She was smiling the whole time and patient. The service alone is worth returning for. The food was yummy and fresh, the beef barbacao and pulled pork were favoured proteins from our group We also had the lamb and pulled mushroom which were decent. Only downside was no high chair for little ones but we managed to eat in anyway.

Sarah Fraser If you’re thinking about hosting your child’s party at Hoopla South Morang, do it! you won’t regret it! From the moment we arrived, Anthony and Conner made us feel so welcome and completely at ease. Our party host, Scarlett, went above and beyond to make sure our beautiful girl Esmé had the most magical 5th birthday. The food and cake were delicious, everything was organised perfectly, and best of all - it was all packed up and cleaned up for us. We truly didn’t have to lift a finger. They take care of absolutely everything so you can just relax and enjoy the celebration while the kids have the time of their lives in the epic play centre!! Such a fantastic experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!

jacoub daoud absolutely loved the fish and chips here! The fish was perfectly cooked — crispy, golden batter on the outside and flaky, tender fish on the inside. The chips were hot, fresh, and seasoned just right. Everything tasted super fresh and wasn’t greasy at all. You can tell they take pride in their food. Definitely one of the best fish and chips I’ve had — I’ll be coming back for sure! The Best in SOUTH MORANG

Daniel Borg Drip Bar – The Best-Tasting Açaí Around! I’ve tried a lot of açaí spots, but nothing comes close to Drip Bar. The flavour is on another level super fresh, rich, and perfectly balanced. It’s not icy like most places nor can I eat at any other acai place because this place is that good

Simone Johnson Today I ordered 2 pizzas over the phone and had a special request at pick up and the staff were amazing going above and beyond to meet our needs. (Dough and all, one happy son) Pizzas are never disappointing. Thankyou for amazing service!

King Julian Absolutely love this tenderising feast for cheap but to much grease and sticks to your hands harder that super glue

Anto K Sebastian Sehion Café isn’t really a full sit-down restaurant in the way you’d normally expect. We opted for takeaway as the space didn’t feel quite set up or polished enough for dining in. That said, Joy Chettan was very friendly and prepared our order with a lot of care, which made a big difference. The service felt genuine and personal. They also sell Kerala snacks and masalas, which is a nice bonus if you’re looking for authentic ingredients. Overall, better suited for takeaway and shopping rather than a dine-in experience.
