Amilliah The Bridge Hotel in Richmond is a classic local pub that delivers great value, friendly service and a relaxed night out. I visited on a Monday night for Meatball Mondays, and it was such a good experience. For just around $26 you get a generous serving of classic meatballs with spaghetti and bottomless garlic bread refills, which kept us going all night. It’s such great comfort food and feels like a proper pub feast.
The meatballs were decent size and flavourful, the sauce rich and satisfying, and the garlic bread was lovely with the option to keep it coming, a simple touch that made the meal feel even better.
Inside there’s plenty of seating, so even when the pub is busy and buzzing with locals or groups, it never feels cramped or stressful to find a table. The atmosphere is classic pub energy, warm, social and friendly, which makes it great for a casual night out any day of the week.
Another bonus is parking available on the side streets, which makes getting there easy even on busy nights, so you don’t have to worry about finding a spot.
