Chris Dimitrievski Heard about this place from a friend so I thought I’d try it. So glad I did. The food was amazing, great value for money and great service!! Will definitely be back!

Outsider Melbourne This is a great place to go for a drink. They have food specials almost every night, and their pizza has improved, now tasting much better than before and offering good value.

Faye with an E A small Thai restaurant located slightly further from the Bentleigh shopping area. It took us about 20 minutes from the CBD, but it’s definitely worth the drive. The portion sizes are huge and the prices are very reasonable. It may not be a strictly authentic Thai place, but it comes with a creative Thai twist. Every bite is full of flavor. The recommended dish is the Jungle Soup, which you wouldnt find at many other Thai restaurants in Melbourne. It’s a herby soup that would refresh and wake up your taste buds. Their Pad Thai is another highlighted dish. The smoky wok hei and tangy flavor, plus the superb presentation, are the reasons why you must order it! Though the service is on the slower side due to the capacity, it’s still manageable. The staff is friendly and highly attentive. It’s definitely one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve tried in Melbourne. Bookings are not essential but recommended.

Alice H This is the BEST Japanese restaurant in the area! Ive tried many Japanese restaurants in Carnegie, Glen Huntly, and Ormond, but this one was the most INCREDIBLE! The chicken gyoza and beef taka (or tata) were two of the best entrées—flavorful, well-balanced, soft, and melt-in-your-mouth. The seafood plate looked stunning and was super fresh, with great quality—nothing fishy there. We had two different rolls, the Volcano something and the spicy salmon, both of which were awesome and well-seasoned. The eggplant was good; the sauce on top was a bit strong but still fun to try. Highly recommend!

Princess Melchor Little Tommy Tucker in Bentleigh is such a great find! The vibe is relaxed and welcoming, perfect for a casual brunch or coffee catch-up. I ordered the smoked salmon eggs benedict and it was absolutely delicious — creamy, well-balanced, and full of flavour. The Biscoff pancakes were also a standout, super indulgent and definitely worth trying. Plus, they serve Dukes Coffee Roasters which is always a win in my books — smooth and done just right. Highly recommend if you’re in Bentleigh and looking for a quality café experience.

Anna Wassell We hosted my 40th birthday here last night and it was fantastic. Jane was so easy to deal with in the lead-up, nothing was too much trouble. The function space itself is perfect, separate entrance, its own bar and toilets, a beautiful deck, and a great indoor area with space for a dance floor - which definitely got a work out! The food was delicious and the staff were absolutely lovely. Our guests have been raving about both. We loved it and would highly recommend for any special occasion. Thank you Gilbert’s!

Miro Radu Tavola is a small restaurant with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, but the food truly stands out. I had the Caserecce con pistacchio, zucchine e pancetta, and it was absolutely delicious — perfectly balanced flavours, creamy without being heavy, and clearly made with quality ingredients. The size of the restaurant adds to its charm, making the experience feel more personal and authentic. If you’re looking for great Italian food in a relaxed setting, Tavola is definitely worth a visit.

kate coronel We had the Satay Gai, Mixed Entree, BBQ Beef, Pad Gra Pow, and the Thai Beef Salad. The food was delicious, very flavourful, the satay sauce was especially tasty and a highlight for me. Serving sizes generous, reasonably priced, and beautifully presented. We left feeling full and satisfied. Next time we’d like to try the Crispy Pork Belly as it was sold out when we got there.

Steph Delicious food and great service, we went in for brunch and loved the new menu. Definitely recommend visiting if you’re in Bentleigh, I was very impressed with everything. also enjoyed a delicious fresh muffin!! Pistachio and raspberry, highly recommend! ⭐️

maddison mccarthy So accommodating in the dining room with us being late and having additional guests (sorry!) Relaxed atmosphere and felt like we could take our time. Food was delicious and never without a full glass. Bruschetta special was great- took me straight back to Italy with fresh ingredients and great presentation. Our host, Stuart, was hilarious and so helpful. Keep it up!
