defne Me and my family had such an amazing night at Alya Restaurant Cafe Bar — it was easily a 5 star experience. The DJ was absolutely the highlight to our night, super fun and entertaining and kept the vibes going the whole time. The food full of flavour, and came out perfect. The service was awesome, with really friendly staff which made the whole experience even better. Alya Restaurant Cafe Bar is such a good place to enjoy food, music, and company. Definitely recommend and can’t wait to go back

george yeo Jonty Jenkins was right- compared to The Beanies Full Moon Cafe, the assualting smell of the coffee beans was an attack on all of my senses, which assualted me. I ordered a "mooost excellent soy mochaccino grande latte poured with extra foam", which was also an assualt on all of my senses. There were too many teenages and twenty somethings plugged into sleek headphones, and the tablet wielding employee with a man bun ignored me. Calmer coffee is another example of an ever creeping shift towards souless franchises that can be found at airports around the world.

Brittany Such a gem in Essendon!!! I love the vibe here, beautiful interior decor with lovely service. I highly recommend the lamb ragu, prosciutto pizza, and burrata. A good spot for date nights, girls dinner and group gatherings.

Ricardo Nehme Absolutely Unreal venue !! Magnificent customer service from the second we entered to the second we left. Everyone was super welcoming, professional and polite !! All the food we ordered was incredibly delicious!! The steak is a MUST !! We ordered a steak, Lebanese Mezze and the Foccacia ! All of it was Served Hot and it was all full of flavour !! This place is a must visit when near by!

Chris We had the most amazing Valentine’s Day. From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the beautiful Valentine’s decorations. The entrance was lined with stunning red balloons cascading from above, creating such a romantic and memorable first impression. Inside, the heart-shaped balloons and the gorgeous “LOVE U” display at the bar made the whole venue feel warm, festive, and incredibly special. Every detail was thoughtfully done — it truly set the perfect mood for the evening. A very special thank you to manager Ivy, who provided outstanding service throughout the night. She was attentive, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. Her professionalism and friendly attitude made our celebration even more enjoyable. Between the stunning décor and the exceptional service, it was a Valentine’s Day to remember. Highly recommend for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion in style!

Farnaz Dezhaboun I had saved this restaurant on my list for a long time, and finally the day came when we went there for lunch. The atmosphere was beautiful and lively. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by Osman, who greeted us with a smile, brought us the menu, and explained the dishes in detail. I took photos of everything we ordered but all these pictures have one thing in common. When the food arrived, it looked and smelled so amazing that we immediately started eating. We would take a few bites first and only then remember to take photos, which really shows how delicious everything was. The mezze and the bread were fantastic. While we were still enjoying the mezze and waiting for the main course, two other guests sat at the table next to us. The aroma and presentation caught their attention so much that they asked Osman what we had ordered & then ordered the same dishes. The main course was outstanding, but the one thing I’m still thinking about is the dessert. In my opinion, anyone who visits this restaurant must try it otherwise you’re truly missing out. Overall, everything was amazing and I highly recommend it.

Elizabeth Green What a wonderful surprise we had last night. Basq is so innovative with their cuisine and everything was beautifully presented as well as being delicious. We had not been here before but will definitely return. The cocktails were brilliant, see a photo of the passion popcorn cocktail, so much fun! We were celebrating 2 birthdays and this was a perfect venue in which to celebrate.
