4 /5 jady roberts: Dining at The Fields is a wonderful experience. From walking into the restaurant, you are greeted with smiling faces, the wood heater warming up the room, and great lighting. The menu is designed for sharing, each dish serving 2 people. The cuisine is Pan Asian. The four of us shared the salmon tartare, pork (melt in your mouth), salt & pepper squid (like youve never had before), beef curry (beef falling off your fork) rice, and roti.
I only gave 4 stars because the music in the room was, in my opinion, too loud, and the room got very loud with diners trying to talk over the sound. As the evening got on, I did ask the waitress to turn down the music. She did oblige but turned it down marginally.
As for the cuisine, service, and ambience, I rate this 5 stars.
