Amilliah I visited Le Café Flo in Thornbury for lunch and loved the Parisian atmosphere, the menus made out of old record covers. It feels like a little corner of France right on High Street.
I had a crepe with lemon and sugar. While it was only one flat piece, it was still pleasant, delicate, buttery, and with just enough lemon tang. Not over fancy, but done well, and it hit the spot for something light and sweet.
Service was warm and attentive. I was seated indoors, but there’s both indoor and outdoor seating, which gives the place a nice flexibility whether the weather’s good or not.
Le Café Flo feels like a cozy spot to linger, good for casual meetups or treating yourself. I’ll definitely come back to try more from their menu (maybe a galette or a more filled crepe next time), because the food, ambiance, and experience are lovely.
